Homage! Gods and Asuras, holders of secret mantra vows, and all who have gathered, please listen! Hūṃ Oṃ! I am not seeking the enjoyment of royal power in the higher realms, nor am I striving to achieve the merits of desire. It is solely out of compassion for beings that I strive for their benefit. In this, you, the all-knowing one, are my witness. Hūṃ Oṃ! Protector, you have no obscurations of wisdom, you know my pure intention. The vows I have made before you, I will not break. Protector, I will not deceive you. Hūṃ Oṃ! From this day forth, I will completely abandon thoughts of deceit and disturbance regarding profit and fame, and I will not keep personal gain in mind. I will begin the great act of benefiting others. Hūṃ Oṃ! For the sake of the all-good, unsurpassed enlightenment, I generate the mind of enlightenment. From now on, I will properly train in the ultimate and relative Bodhicitta. Hūṃ Oṃ! Even if all sentient beings were to become demons and cut my body into a thousand pieces, I would not abandon the supreme Bodhicitta, wisdom, compassion, and the yidam deities and Buddhas. Hūṃ Oṃ! The great Vajra vows, the Vajra master, Dharma brothers and sisters, and others who have entered the supreme vehicle, I will protect them as much as I can, even for the sake of their lives. Hūṃ Oṃ! Samsara is selfless, its nature is illusory, I have no fear of it. For the sake of ignorant beings, I am willing to act until the end of samsara. Oṃ Hūṃ! Engaging in benefiting others and remaining in samsara, I will practice the great conduct of a Bodhisattva. For the benefit of all sentient beings in the six realms, I will take birth at my own will. Hūṃ Oṃ! I am not eager to become a Buddha in a completely pure world, but wherever there is suffering, I will remain for countless eons, benefiting beings. Hūṃ Oṃ! Striving for the benefit of beings for a long time in samsara is the conduct of Bodhisattvas. Until the lower realms are emptied, I will not generate a mind of weariness. Hūṃ Oṃ! Benefiting beings with wisdom and skillful means, there is no greater enjoyment of compassion than that. Even the realms of hell, hungry ghosts, and Yama, are like a garden of the gods.

In existence, under the power of karma and conditions, Wherever the sacred Dharma is in danger, I will cross the fire and the edge of the razor, Until the very end, I will protect the sacred Dharma. Hūṃ Oṃ! Generating the mind of supreme, unsurpassed Bodhi, For the being who enters the supreme practice, With whatever power and strength I have accumulated through lifetimes, I will always fulfill the intentions of the great beings. Those who create obstacles to the sacred Dharma and practice, Whether human or non-human, any malicious being, I will completely pacify and utterly destroy, With various methods of peaceful and wrathful means.
