In the center of the great immeasurable palace, based on the arrangement adorned with the infinite qualities of the precious lotus king, on a lotus seat, on a precious lion throne, is the Dharma body stupa of all Tathagatas, made of various precious jewels, immeasurable in extent and size, possessing all the specific details and excellent characteristics of a stupa, the embodiment of all the great qualities of the Buddha, such as strength and fearlessness, becoming the glorious field of all worlds, with countless Buddha lands gathered and encircling, in the vast palace, may the thrones where all the Tathagatas of the ten directions, Bodhisattvas, and all noble Dharma protectors are assembled, be adorned with beauty, arising from the power of the special aspirations of each noble being, perfectly accomplished. May everything inside and out be in accordance with the ritual, with divine and human offerings, such as delicious food, clothing, ornaments, and music, all kinds of excellent things, filling and adorning with the ocean of offering clouds arising from the Sutra of the Three Heaps and the Aspiration of the Practice of Goodness. May all the noble ones gather, bless, partake, and enjoy in the same way. Recite three times. Again, by the truth of the Three Jewels, the blessings of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the great power of the complete accumulation of the two accumulations, and the power of the pure and inconceivable realm of Dharma, may it be so. Recite three times. After blessing the assembly of offerings with truth, invite the noble ones, kneel down, take flowers, and join palms, saying these words: Bhagavan, glorious Shakyamuni Buddha and all the Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Buddhas, and the assembly of Bodhisattvas abiding in the ten directions and three times, please listen. Therefore, in order to save many beings such as so-and-so, we beseech you as protectors and refuge. If we invite you, please descend into this mandala of the palace where offerings are arranged, grace us with your grand presence, and bestow your blessings. ༈ (Kha) The great leader of the Yaksha hosts, Vajrapani, the great king Dhritarashtra, Holy Born Youth, Virupaksha, Kubera, Brahma, Vishnu, the Great Ishvara, the sons of the gods of Tushita, the king of the gods Indra, the sons of the gods of the Thirty-Three, the son of the gods Jewel Heart Immaculate, and others, those who especially hold as their emblems the dharanis that contemplate the essence and samaya of all the Tathagatas, appearing as the immaculate light radiating from the crown of the head, entering from all directions. Furthermore, all the noble Dharma protectors who were previously entrusted with the command of the grand assembly, and who have each vowed with the purity and permanence of the gods to protect and uphold the sacred Dharma and the fourfold retinue, recalling their previous good vows and inconceivable power, in order to save many beings such as so-and-so, if we invite you as protectors, refuge, and allies, please descend into this mandala of the palace where offerings are arranged, grace us with your grand presence, and bestow your blessings. After the invitation, in the mandala of the palace, which is arranged as described above, the noble assembly descends from the ten directions, and we think in our minds that the retinue is seated on the seats, visualizing them vividly, and perform prostrations seven times or more. We offer water for washing and other offerings, the five kinds of offerings, and whatever we actually possess, in order. We recite the dharani that generates clouds of offerings, and with the power of devotion, we visualize excellent and vast offerings, and recite the verses offering impartial offerings. The spiritual sons of those Buddhas, the Bhagavatas, the great Bodhisattvas who abide on the great earth, who have mastered dharani and samadhi, who have the realm of the signless, who possess the patience of equality towards all dharmas, who have unobstructed fearlessness, who play with great superknowledge, who have mastery over all dharmas, who are diligent in the benefit of others, the Sangha of Bodhisattvas gathered by the ten bhumis and five lineages, to all the supreme Sangha Jewel, I respectfully prostrate and take refuge! The speech sons of all those Teachers, the Sugatas, who have entered into wisdom, who abide in reality, who are without afflictions, who are empowered, peaceful and tamed, pure, awakened, liberated, intelligent, who have attained their own benefit, to the Sangha of the Noble Pratyekabuddhas and the Noble Shravakas, to all the supreme Sangha Jewel, I respectfully prostrate and take refuge! To all the stupas, relics, and remains in the ten directions, I respectfully prostrate and take refuge!
