The Dharmadhatu, free from sudden defilements, The noble path that dispels the darkness of the two obscurations, The supreme scripture that is the conducive cause for realizing the nature of reality, I prostrate to the sacred Dharma of scripture and realization. Here today, the noble assembly, etc., The Sugata's words, which have become a valid measure, The supreme truth that does not possess change, Having remembered with a respectful mind, Through the power of reciting names and offering prostrations, Merely hearing the name eliminates faults and increases qualities. Such as these, the unchanging result of the Sugata's words and teachings, Here today, may beings such as myself enjoy, And may the lamp of Dharma, which is wise and pervasive, blaze forth. Through the blessings of the sacred Dharma Jewel of Truth, From today until the end of existence, May I and others uphold all the sacred Dharma of all the Buddhas, Just as the Buddhas intended. I prostrate to the Sangha Jewel. I prostrate to all the Bodhisattvas, Mahasattvas, including the noble Manjushri, Kshyapa Vimoksha, and Vajrapani. I offer and take refuge. Recite seven times, etc. The Dharma prince, the youthful treasure of wisdom, To us beings afflicted by hundreds of faults, Who revealed this profound and vast path, I prostrate to the venerable Manjushri. Through the power of skillful means and supreme compassion, For the sake of curing untimely death, expanding royal power, etc., Who clearly shows the practice of purification through offerings, I prostrate to the noble Kshyapa Vimoksha. In Vaishali, the eight Sugatas gathered, Commanded to protect the teachings jointly and separately, Each promising with words of truth, I prostrate to the Lord of Secrets and retinue. I prostrate to Avalokiteshvara and those who appear like the sun and moon, Great wisdom Anavatapta, etc., Thirty-six thousand Bodhisattvas of the retinue, And all the Bodhisattvas of the ten directions. Here today, the noble assembly, etc., Just as the Bodhisattva's aspiration and wisdom power, Are praised with truthful words, Having remembered with a respectful mind, Through the power of reciting names and offering prostrations, May the supreme sons of the Buddhas, such as Manjushri, Arouse the Buddhas' vows and initiate discussion, May they spread the Sutra, whose benefits are inconceivable, And bless those who uphold, protect, and guard it.

Ra. To all those who possess true and unfailing vows, today, as we perform the ritual of the Sutra Division, may you bestow true manifestation. Through the power of wisdom, compassion, and great blessings, having fulfilled the ritual of the Sutra Division, may all the benefits spoken of in the Sutras be immediately visible, and may all hopes be completely fulfilled. To the protectors of the Dharma, including Brahma, Indra, the four Great Kings, and the twelve great Yaksha generals, and all the virtuous gods who protect the sacred Dharma, I prostrate, offer, and take refuge. Repeat three times, etc. Brahma, Indra, and the ten directional guardians, the four Great Kings and other pure lords, and the assembly of noble ones who have vowed to protect the teachings, I prostrate to all the protectors of the white side. In Vaishali, upon hearing the name of the Medicine Buddha, those who vowed to protect this Sutra of Seeing Truth, the twelve Yaksha generals surrounded by seven hundred thousand attendants, I prostrate to the Yaksha chiefs. Today, may the assembly of noble ones and the worldly protectors, together with their chiefs, remember the vows they made in the past before the Teacher. Recalling with respectful minds, by reciting their names and offering prostrations and offerings, may they protect and guard those who uphold the Sutra Division, pacify enemies and harm, diseases and strife, eliminate untimely death, bring happiness to body and mind, increase enjoyment, power, wealth, and grain, and accomplish all wishes as desired. Just as the Blessed One, in the presence of the great assembly, made supplications with the true words of the gods, please accept this vast offering of the Torma. At times when the Torma is not offered, one should keep this verse of offering the Torma and replace it with: Do not forget your past vows, remember them today. May we, who perform the ritual of the Sutra Division, eliminate all obstacles and accomplish all favorable conditions as desired. May the Buddha's teachings flourish and spread, may all beings find happiness, and may you accomplish this activity. The Torma is offered. Again, the Torma for the local deities: This offering Torma, endowed with the five desirable qualities, is offered to the goddess Tenma, the twelve Tenma goddesses, and all the local deities of the snowy land and this place. May it eliminate obstacles.

Homage! The unsurpassed protector is the precious and excellent Dharma. The unsurpassed guide is the Sangha. I prostrate and praise the Three Jewels, the objects of refuge. To all those worthy of praise, with bodies as numerous as all the dust particles in the fields, at all times, with supreme faith, I prostrate and praise. Aspiration: Now, in this place, according to the ritual of the sutras, through the power of the Buddhas and their retinues making prostrations and offerings, may the aspirations made by the Sugatas, the promises of the authentic sons of the Buddhas, and the vows made by the Dharma protectors and guardians, be accomplished for us. May the Buddha's teachings flourish, and may the lotus feet of the holders of the teachings be firm. May the righteous kings and their subjects engage in virtue. May all beings increase in happiness and be devoted to the Dharma. May disease, evil spirits, poverty, and strife cease. May loving-kindness prevail, and may the Dharma and auspiciousness increase. May we purify obscurations, complete accumulations, and quickly attain great enlightenment. May I become exactly like the enlightened mind, activities, prayers, wisdom, love, and power of all the Sugatas and their sons, and the miraculous display of supreme wisdom. Confession: Whatever has not been obtained, whatever has been lost, or whatever has been done or caused to be done through my ignorant mind, please forgive all of it. Due to impure and careless actions, and whatever I have been unable to do or have done wrongly according to the rituals described in the sutras, please forgive that as well. Request to Remain: Please accomplish all the benefits of sentient beings and grant the attainments that are in accordance with their needs. After departing to the Buddha-fields, please return again with compassion. O protectors, endowed with great compassion, for the benefit of myself and all sentient beings, please depart with your retinue by means of miraculous powers to your respective Buddha-fields. Dedication: Like Manjushri the Hero, etc., two verses. Through this merit, may I quickly attain the state of the Medicine Buddha, and may I establish all beings, without exception, in that state. The sole medicine for the suffering of beings, the source of all happiness, may the teachings, along with gain and respect, remain for a long time. Wonderful! May the blessings of the Buddhas and their sons, the unfailing truth of dependent origination, and my supreme
