Thus, without interruption, both attainments were achieved. The lineage with conviction and experiential signs is particularly sublime. From the Fearless Master Ngawang Drakpa and the follower of Gonpo Serlingpa, the Glorious Lamp Bearer, to the Second Victorious One, the Monk Tsojé, they were transmitted in succession. Emanating from the heart commitment of the Lord of the World, the Glorious Karmapa, father and sons, and blended with the nectar of speech of the Vajradhara Tara, the Protector of the age of strife, how much profound instruction like the heart essence of a jewel was received from the mouth of the Glorious Lama, to explain it flawlessly and authentically, there are three parts: preliminaries, main practice, and subsequent stages. The first part has two divisions: the common preliminary four foundations, and the uncommon accumulation of merit. The first part has four divisions: the Vajrasattva practice and recitation that purifies the mind-stream, the refuge and bodhicitta that distinguish the path from being deviant and inferior, the mandala that perfects the accumulations, and the guru yoga instruction that swiftly brings blessings. The first is: Before the crow's call at dawn, rise and perform a clean ablution. Sit comfortably in the lotus position on a comfortable seat, and with the intention of dispelling sins, obscurations, and obstacles to life, exhale three times. On the crown of one's head, in a state of ordinary being, on a lotus and moon cushion, visualize Vajrasattva inseparable from the guru, with a white body, one face, and two arms. The right hand holds a vajra at the heart, and the left hand holds a bell at the hip. Adorned with all the major and minor marks and ornaments, at his heart is the garland of the hundred-syllable mantra, arranged like a string of pearls. Visualize in your own heart, on a lotus and moon cushion, the Bhagavati, with the syllable “ཏཱྂ་” (Tibetan, Devanagari, Tāṃ, seed syllable) at her heart, residing inseparable from the guru. With remorse for misdeeds and strong devotion to the guru and yidam as inseparable: Protector, I, through ignorance and delusion, have violated and broken vows. Guru Protector, please protect me! Chief Vajradhara, you are the embodiment of great compassion. I seek refuge in the chief of beings. I confess and repent all sins, obscurations, transgressions, and broken vows, root and branch, of myself and all sentient beings. I do not conceal, I do not hide, I beseech you to purify and cleanse. Thus, having prayed

The Lama Vajrasattva melts into light with a smile. From the crown of the head, it dissolves into the white Tara in the heart. Through recitation and devotion, the mindstream of the deity is stimulated. Then, from the TĀṂ (藏文:ཏཱྃ,梵文天城体:ताṃ,梵文罗马拟音:tāṃ,汉语字面意思:当) syllable in the heart of the Bhagavati, a stream of nectar and white light arises. Filling the entire body. From the tip of the right hand's mudra of generosity, nectar flows like a stream of milk. Filling one's own body. All sins, obscurations, diseases, untimely death, and broken vows are expelled from the pores like chaff driven away by water. The body, inside and out, is without obscurations, like a crystal ball, pure and clear white. Think in this way and recite the ten-syllable mantra and the combined Vajrasattva hundred-syllable mantra as much as possible. Finally, after making such prayers, confessions, and purifications, the Bhagavati dissolves into light. Dissolving into oneself, one becomes the actual Bhagavati, thinking in this way, and rests in the non-conceptual dharmata of the three spheres. If this is only divided into sessions, then in the end, one must also dedicate the merit, and the same applies to the following practices. If you want to condense it into a daily practice, then visualize a white TĀṂ (藏文:ཏཱྃ,梵文天城体:ताṃ,梵文罗马拟音:tāṃ,汉语字面意思:当) syllable on a moon in the heart of one's ordinary self, surrounded by the hundred-syllable mantra like a string of pearls, from which light like moonlight arises. Filling the body. Purifying diseases, obscurations, sins, karma, and ripening results, along with the mass of flesh and blood, and believe that the body has become the nature of light. After reciting the ten-syllable mantra and the hundred-syllable mantra. Pray as before, "Goddess, we... Vows... Lama Tara..." etc. The syllable and seat dissolve into light. Dissolving into oneself, the object to be purified, from the very beginning, is the completely pure dharmadhatu that is without objectification. Rest in equanimity. This is in accordance with the general sequence of instructions and is done after taking refuge and generating bodhicitta, and it is not necessary to be completely rigid, but the old texts and traditions are preserved. For example, if food is put into an impure container, it will spoil, similarly, those with obscurations cannot generate the realization of the path, so if you first purify the obscurations and transgressions of the container, then there will be no difficulty in generating the samadhi of the two stages. Therefore, practicing this first is a substitute for washing the container, so it is very important. Second is taking refuge. In the space in front, a lotus tree is full of branches, leaves, and fruits.

In the center of the four-petaled lotus, the essence is the inseparable root guru and Jetsunma (Venerable Mother), appearing as the form of the Protector Amitabha, the embodiment of all gurus, residing there. On the front petal is the Holy Tara, the embodiment of all yidam deities. On the right is Shakyamuni Buddha, the embodiment of all Buddhas. Behind is the Great Mother herself, the essence of all Dharma jewels. On the left is Avalokiteshvara, the embodiment of all Sangha. Visualize heroes, dakinis, Dharma protectors, and guardians residing densely like clouds in the surroundings and in between. If you like, offer praises and prayers. Usually, it is not necessary. Visualize yourself as the leader, with all sentient beings, especially your mothers, gathered in a crowd. Reflect on how they experience suffering. Think from the bottom of your heart that you are asking them to protect you from those sufferings, and as you act as a guide, all sentient beings also take refuge with reverence through the three doors. Accumulate as much merit as possible, such as "I and all beings," and "Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha." Generating Bodhicitta: With all sentient beings pervading space as the object, there is not one of these beings who has not been my mother since beginningless time. Although they desire happiness, they wander in the unbearable ocean of suffering in samsara without any time of liberation. How pitiful! Vow to establish all of these beings without exception in the state of the immortal, permanent, supreme, and perfect Buddha. Associated with this vow is the aspiration Bodhicitta. For this purpose, temporarily, may we have long life, be free from illness, and have obstacles pacified. In particular, may the life of the guru be stable and may sentient beings experience happiness. Ultimately, for the sake of quickly and easily attaining the state of Holy Tara, the mother of all Buddhas of the three times, engage in the generation and completion stages of Jetsunma Wish-Fulfilling Wheel, and bring it to completion with great diligence. Vow that until this yidam is accomplished, you will not give up even if your life is at stake. After this vow, begin the practice, and generate the entering Bodhicitta well. Recite extensive verses such as the Bodhisattvacharyavatara (A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life), or say "for the sake of all sentient beings" etc., multiple times. Finally, all the objects of refuge dissolve into light and merge into the guru. The guru also dissolves into light.
