Nala! Amitabha, the protector, is red in color, with one face and two hands in meditative equipoise, holding a begging bowl and wearing Dharma robes, seated in the vajra posture. To his right is white Avalokiteshvara, with one face and four arms, hands in prayer, holding a rosary and a lotus in his right and left hands, standing on a lotus and moon disc. To his left is Vajrapani, the mighty one, with one face and two hands, blue in color, holding a vajra and a bell in his right and left hands, standing on a lotus and moon disc. Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and Shravaka Arhats, surround him immeasurably. From the three places of the three main deities, light radiates from the three syllables, inviting and dissolving them from Sukhavati. Then, visualize your consciousness as a white bindu, marked with the syllable HRIH (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:啥), transferring to the heart of Amitabha. Emaho! How wondrous is Amitabha, the protector, and the Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara, and Vajrapani, the mighty one. With one-pointed mind, I pray for the deceased, please bless the consciousness to be transferred to the Great Bliss. Thus, with focused intention and prayer, repeat seven or twenty-one times, and recite as much as possible "Ka Hik." With a fierce "PHAT (藏文:ཕཊ,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:啪)," pull a strand of hair from the crown of the head, from the hairline to eight finger-widths, so that the hair scatters like rotten hair, and a "Ka" sound and vapor are emitted, or swelling occurs, or clear liquid drips out, or warmth is felt, or a hot sensation arises. For hairless areas, press with a finger until swelling and clear liquid accumulate, or other signs appear, and repeat until signs appear. Then, visualize light radiating from the heart of Amitabha, illuminating all the retinue, and the corpse of the deceased, all dissolving into light, gradually dissolving into the heart of Amitabha. Emaho! Wondrous Buddha Amitabha, to your right is Lord Great Compassionate Avalokiteshvara, and to your left are the mighty Bodhisattvas, surrounded by immeasurable Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. In that pure land called Sukhavati, which is immeasurably blissful and wondrous, may the deceased, immediately after passing away from here, without interruption by other rebirths, be born there and see the face of Amitabha. This prayer that I have made, may all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, without obstruction, accomplish it, and grant their blessings. Tadyatha (藏文:ཏདྱ་ཐཱ,梵文天城体:तद्यथा,梵文罗马拟音:tadyathā,汉语字面意思:即说咒曰): Pancadriya Avabodhanaya (藏文:པཉྩ་དྲི་ཡ་ཨ་ཝ་བོ་དྷ་ནཱ་ཡ་,梵文天城体:पञ्चद्रिय अवबोधनाय,梵文罗马拟音:pañcadriya avabodhanāya,汉语字面意思:五根觉悟)

Svaha! After reciting prayers such as three, five, or seven times, guide the way with melody. Emaho! How wondrous is the protector Amitabha, and the compassionate Mahachakra Vajrapani, may the deceased, with one-pointed mind, pray with devotion, and may you bless the consciousness to be transferred to the Great Bliss. Alas! Son of the deceased lineage, do not be attached to this samsara, without any doubt, go to the Pure Land of Great Bliss. Phat! Phat! Phat! By saying this, visualize Amitabha as if shooting an arrow, going to the Sukhavati Pure Land. Do not experience the suffering of the lower realms, etc., like a lotus not stained by mud, etc., recite like this. Just as one recites for others, without harboring the intention of seeking wealth for oneself, recite with compassion for all the deceased, then the benefits are unimaginable. If there is no sign of effect at all, then the consciousness may have already been transferred. Because there are those who only stay for a moment or the time it takes to eat a meal, therefore, before the external breath has ceased, if a transferrer of consciousness arrives, then focus with the mind, close the nine orifices, etc. Do not shake, etc., but recite the name and prayers, etc., recite for a long time, then there will definitely be a sign of effect. It is generally believed that within three days to the noon of the fourth day, the consciousness remains in the body, so the transfer of consciousness is very important. After that, perform the complete ritual. It is also said in the Kadampa Book that it stays for three or seven days, so it can be recited within seven days as well. Some village ritualists say that the reason for shaking the consciousness with a piece of paper is that after the corpse has been placed for many days, the consciousness is summoned to reside in the body, and then the ritual of transferring consciousness is performed again. Although it is not mentioned in the tantras, it seems that there is no contradiction. The above is a commentary, and if one can quote the unmodified root sentences from the Mind Treasure of the Sky Dharma, the benefits will be even greater, so it is as follows: Om! Then the order of transference of consciousness is: In one's own heart, the red Hrih (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍), visualize it with a long sound and fierce words. From this, emanate six Hrihs (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍), and close the doors of the six realms of rebirth. Visualize the Brahma hole in the crown of the head as Ha Then on the crown of the head, visualize Amitabha, visualize the three deities of the main retinue as before. Then visualize one's own consciousness, as a white bindu, marked with the letter Hrih (藏文:ཧྲཱིཿ,梵文天城体:ह्रीः,梵文罗马拟音:hrīḥ,汉语字面意思:舍), transferred to the heart of Amitabha. Without any doubt, recite the prayer for rebirth in Sukhavati. Samaya Gya Gya
