Tseteng (Place name) In the center where the white and red elements below are joined in the heart, the Alaya-vijnana (ground consciousness) abides, in which all the skandhas (aggregates), dhatus (elements), and ayatanas (sources) are gathered. Therefore, one experiences the luminosity of the ground, the Dharmakaya, but due to the ignorance of ordinary beings, they transmigrate to other existences. Fourthly, incidentally, regarding the certainty of where one transmigrates and how the Bardo arises: Thereafter, the Alaya-vijnana: From the Brahma aperture, it is the formless realm. From the bindu (drop), it is the great goddess. From the navel, it is the desire realm deity. From the eye, it is the lord of men in the desire realm. From the nose, one is born in the abode of yakshas. From the ear, it is the accomplished deity. From the gate of existence, it is said to be a preta (hungry ghost). From the water path, one becomes an animal. From the lower gate, it is the eight hells. Thereafter, the Bardo arises. As it is said, after the essence of the white, red, and wind elements have gathered in the heart, from then on, the Alaya-vijnana, if it transmigrates from the Brahma aperture at the crown of the head, will be born in any of the four formless realms. If it transmigrates from the bindu between the eyebrows, it will be born as a great goddess, that is, a deity in any of the sixteen abodes of the form realm. If it transmigrates from the navel, it will be born in any of the six types of deities in the desire realm. Some Tantric views also say that one is born as an Asura (demi-god). If one transmigrates from the eye, one will be born as a lord of men in the desire realm, that is, in the royal lineage. If one transmigrates from the nostril, one will be born in the abode of yakshas, that is, the northern place of those who hold willows. If one transmigrates from the ear, one will be born as an accomplished deity, that is, among the Vidyadharas (knowledge holders) of the Thirty-Three Gods. If one transmigrates from the gate of existence, that is, the path of semen, it is said that one will be born as a preta. As it is said in the *Compendium of Teachings*, one is born as a preta from the mouth. As it is said in the commentary on the *Four Seats*, the gate of existence is the mouth, therefore both should be accepted. If one transmigrates from the urinary path, one will become an animal. If one transmigrates from the lower gate, one will be born in any of the eight great hot hells. Immediately after transmigration, until the period before the connection with the next life, except for those who have committed the five heinous crimes or are about to be born in the formless realm, the appearance of the Bardo will arise. As it is said, the detailed circumstances of the Bardo have been spoken by the Lord himself in the *Condensed Explanation of the Mindfulness Sutra* and in the Bardo section of the *Six Dharmas*.

It should be known from this. Third is the conclusion: When the three, appearance, increase, and attainment, dissolve, the nature of the three bodies is not known. Light and darkness, emptiness and great emptiness, etc., if not realized, one wanders in samsara. That defilement is purified by the path, and by extreme purity, nirvana is attained. Thus it is said. If those stages described are briefly summarized, then at the time of the stages of appearance, increase, and attainment, the gross forms, sounds, etc., and the appearance dissolve, which is the collection of the nirmanakaya. The subtle distinctions, etc., and the increase dissolve, which is the collection of the sambhogakaya. The alaya enters the clear light, and the attainment dissolves, which is collected into the dharmakaya, thus collecting the nature of the three bodies into the clear light. However, because that is not known, the nature of the mind's clear light, the tathagatagarbha, is called appearance, and the meaning of the darkness of ignorance that obscures it is not distinguished one by one. Pages 501 to 532. The six aggregates and their objects, if one knows that they are empty of reality, and the mental activity and mental factors that abide in the alaya, if one knows that they are empty of reality as great emptiness, and if one knows that the alaya consciousness itself is empty of reality as the greatest emptiness, if one does not realize them as they are, one will again wander in samsara. That impurity is purified by the path, and gradually purified, wisdom will be manifested. By extreme purity, nirvana is attained, and it is transformed into the ultimate dharmakaya. Second is the name of the chapter: In the commentary that illuminates the profound inner meaning, the order of how the channels, winds, and bindus are collected and cease is the order of the path, which is the explanation of the eleventh chapter. Thus, the nature of the ground, path, and fruit has been extensively explained in eleven sections or chapters. The third common meaning is to understand the reason for the mantra section by summarizing the meaning, and all the scriptures do not go beyond any of the three pitakas, so the inner and outer pitakas are combined separately. And explaining the necessity of knowing it, etc., this is the chapter that concludes with a conclusion, dedication, and aspiration, which has three parts: explaining the vidyadhara pitaka by way of conclusion, and praising the activity and making dedication and aspiration, the completion of the composition.
