Because it possesses both the aspects of separation and non-separation. These three have abandoned the ultimate co-emergent, because they successively fixate on attachment and detachment. So, what is the nature of the co-emergent itself? It is without attachment like supreme joy, without detachment like joylessness, and like joy, it does not fixate on even mere Madhyamaka nature. Then, isn't it necessary to consider the mere joy of those bodies as co-emergent? The venerable Nāropāda said: "The moment of the transference of the mind of enlightenment, which is the characteristic of the ālaya-vijñāna, is the co-emergent joy; this is the worldly conventional truth." As stated in the definitive meaning, the worldly co-emergent is merely an example of wisdom, referring to what is not ultimately true. In this way, there is no establishment of separate aspects of skillful means of bliss and mere wisdom of emptiness in this co-emergent, so the true nature of the inseparability of skillful means and wisdom is the very illuminator, because it is non-conceptual and unconfused about the meaning of bliss and emptiness. This is spoken of as the realization of the wisdom of meaning for individuals with sharp faculties. The fourth is: "The co-emergent that cannot be expressed by others, nor found anywhere, is known through relying on the guru's timely methods and through one's own merit." As it is said, the co-emergent of ultimate nature, which is difficult to realize, needless to say, is the object of sound and other logical proofs and subsequent inference. Vajradhara also does not become manifest through merely hearing speech, because those ultimate co-emergents cannot indicate it. The sons of the Victorious Ones cannot find it anywhere in other methods or internal and external phenomena, because they do not fixate on the nature of conceptual signs and signlessness, both, or neither. Even so, for the guru who has realized manifestation, the power of blessing through devotion of service and respect in accordance with the time, and the moment of distinguishing the distinction in an instant from that very instruction, and the means of generating wisdom relying on one's own continuum and the power of practice, and relying on the guru's practice, etc., for the worthy disciples.

From the great accumulation of merit and wisdom accumulated in the past, one should recognize and realize the co-emergent truth within oneself. Regarding this, the "Mani Garland" states that it is complete with the four conditions: being born in a suitable place, relying on a noble person, making aspirations, and having done good deeds in the past. Second, regarding the yoga of the Dharmakaya, there are two: a summary and a detailed explanation. The first is: "The inferior, the middling, and the superior, others, what and those, the taste is equal, that nature, through practice, view all of this as equality." Thus it is said, this is the empowerment of sealing with the nature of all phenomena being completely pure. External and internal objects, the inferior such as fine dust, the middling such as vases, and the superior such as Mount Meru, the great earth, and including the ocean, others such as the six senses, the internal sources of birth, what such as the stable, and those such as the moving, all of them. In the nature of union, practicing the thusness of equal taste, that is, abiding by viewing all of this equally as the same. The definitive meaning is: In the "Immaculate Union" it is said that inferior is the joy of subtle meaning, the superior object is the superior joy, the abandonment between the two is joyless, the other six senses are all five co-emergent wisdoms and six, what those are the stable and moving, that is the wisdom of the four joys, experiencing its wheel is taste, all of this is its pervasive lord, spoken of as equal, the same, and undifferentiated. The second has three: explaining its words and meanings in order, showing that nature as the nature of stable and moving, practicing in all activities. The first is: "The place of the inferior is the meaning of subtle, the superior is said to be an object, with the nature of abandonment by the two middle, named others are the six senses, what these are the stable and moving, named this all is no self, equality is the desire for the same, the taste equal that nature through practice, named equal is said to be the same, its wheel is said to be taste, practicing the one taste equality, with this it is said by meaning." Thus it is said, immediately after finishing the summary, the place said to be inferior is the meaning of subtle, that is, the subtle part of the mind and mental consciousness, the superior is said to be one's own body established as a coarse object.
