Surrounded by the white mantra of Hūṃ. Rays of light emanate, inviting the three roots to dissolve. Father and mother's bliss increases, the union's juncture is where the bodhicitta flows. Entering from the Brahma aperture, the body is completely filled. All sins and obscurations are purified, and bliss-emptiness is born. Oṃ (Tibetan: ༀ་, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ) Recite the hundred-syllable mantra of Heruka such as "Śrī Heruka Sattva Samaya," or "Oṃ Āḥ Guru Vajra Sattva Hūṃ (Tibetan: ༀ་ཨཱཿགུ་རུ་བཛྲ་སཏྭ་ཧཱུྃ།, Devanagari: ॐ आः गुरु वज्र सत्त्व हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ guru vajra sattva hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Oṃ Āḥ Guru Vajra Sattva Hūṃ)" as much as possible. If you wish to elaborate, Pray with "Protector, I" and so on. The Lama Vajrasattva dissolves into light and merges into oneself. Then, the generation of the support: The apprehended and the apprehender are pure, self-appearing is the realm of Dharma. The arrangement of immeasurable Buddha-fields is complete. From the clouds of Samantabhadra's aspiration sea, Rain falls from the wish-fulfilling sky treasury. In front is the immeasurable palace of great liberation, The source of Dharma, possessing the self-light of wisdom. In the center of countless incomparable vajra mansions, On a fearless lion throne, a stainless lotus seat, In the center of the pure red and white sun and moon discs, The root Lama, the Heruka who pleases, His form is Lhodrakpa, the common ancestor of the Kagyu lineage (Lhodrak, a region in Bhutan), A reddish-brown body, greatly flourishing, full of vigor. His two hands press the earth, with the mudra subduing the hordes of demons. Hair tufts stand upright, his two feet are in a playful posture. On the lotus and moon that bloom in the four directions, In the east are the feet of Tsurton Wangi Dorje. In the south is Ngokton Chenpo Chödorwa. In the west are Messton Sonam Gyaltsen. The lineage masters are very happy. The chief of the head is the venerable Naropa. Above him are Tilopa and Vajradhara. The Kagyu lamas are surrounded by Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. In the middle is the secret lord, Jetsun Milarepa. The supreme accomplished yogis and yoginis are blazing with glory. The deities of the four tantras. Below are the brother and sister Mahakala. With their retinues, they are blazing with glory and light. The blessings and radiance fill the Dharma realm. The sound of the Vajra Dharma appears in the languages of the six realms. The compassionate intention is entrusted to the fortunate son. The great blessing of wisdom descends upon all that is stable and moving. May they manifestly abide in the appearance of devotion. To invite them as a mere appearance in the stable state of certainty without going or staying: Om! The essence of the all-pervading reality of all things. Like the sky, without dwelling, without going or coming. Although you do not have the characteristics of going and staying, Like the moon in the water, wherever you focus, it appears there. Glorious Heruka, who destroys the armies of demons, With the lama, yidam, dakinis, and retinue, I pray with faith here today, Reveal yourself here with the power of impartial compassion. From the pure realms of self-appearance, Ogmin, From the palace of supreme liberation, Khechara, The four great sons of Marpa who bring joy, The ocean of Kagyu siddhas, yidam deities, The assembly of dakinis, Dharma protectors, and oath-bound ones, The dance of the all-pervading lama's wisdom play, Showing one essence with different forms, Like the reflected images in the tent of power, I pray that you manifest clearly in the city of devotion's mind. After praying for them to abide, the activities of accumulation and purification are: Although there is no coming or going in the wisdom body, Until the hope of our devotion is fulfilled, The lamas of beings, those with the eye of wisdom, Abide with joy and consider us with impartial compassion. Heruka, the all-pervading lord of all the families, I prostrate to the Bhagavan Vajradhara. The one who is followed by the actual Buddha and has attained the supreme accomplishment, The great siddha Tilopa... Having practiced austerities for twelve years, he attained Khechara in the bardo. The great scholar Naropa... The great ancestor of the Kagyu lineage who appeared in person to bring joy, The venerable Lhodrakpa... The actual embodiment of the three vajras, the descending of the clear light Dharma, The feet of Tsurton Wangdor... The descending of the explanatory tantra, the body of Khechara.
