As it is said, "The nature of mind, among all phenomena, does not abide in anything." Fifth, from "pure" to "samsara." Thus it is said, the nature of mind is the essence of the Buddha, naturally pure. Its essence is emptiness, its nature is luminosity, its aspect is unceasing, and with the nature of the three kayas, it now abides within all sentient beings. Although it is so, it is obscured by the conceptualization of ignorance, and because one has not seen or realized one's own essence, one sinks into the ocean of delusion and wanders in the six realms. As the Bodhicitta Explanation says: "Just as people, due to mental confusion, see illusions, mirages, Gandharva cities, and so on, similarly, forms and other appearances arise." Sixth, from "that" to "designation." Thus it is said, if one knows that the adventitious defilements to be abandoned have not been established from the beginning, and one eliminates the conceptualizations of grasping and holding, accepting and rejecting, then when the meaning of the inseparability of samsara and nirvana becomes manifest, one transcends the sorrow of existence. That aspect of purity, free from defilements and adventitious, is designated as having the end of samsara. The nature of mind is the essence of the Buddha, naturally pure from the beginning, and qualities naturally abide within it, so there is no addition or subtraction to its essence. As the Glorious Compendium says: "Whether the Buddhas have appeared or have not appeared, at all times, the nature of the uninterrupted Dharma abides, free from increase and decrease." Therefore, due to the difference between realizing and not realizing the nature of mind, the appearances of Buddhas and sentient beings, ultimate truth and conventional truth, samsara and nirvana, and so on, appear separately, and it is spoken of in this way. The noble Nagarjuna said: "The nature of mind is seen as two, like the world and beyond the world. From clinging to self comes samsara; when known separately, it is that itself." Second, explaining non-true and true conceptualizations, in three parts: the way of wandering in samsara based on non-true conceptualizations, the root of delusion arising from acceptance and rejection, and the meaning of the antidote's realization. First, from "beginning" to "showing." Thus it is said, the nature of mind is the essence of the Sugata, naturally pure, without the distinction of beginning and end, but the beginning and end of time is, true.

It relies on the very imputation of unreal pervasive thoughts, that is, the mind itself, like the sky, due to its own ignorance, the afflictive mind that grasps the mind itself as "I" and "self" manifests, and the thought that arises like a moving wind. Karma and afflictions are accumulated like water. From karma and afflictions arise the five aggregates such as form, the six realms of the objective sphere, the six realms of the dependent faculties, and the eighteen realms of consciousness (six consciousness realms). The six internal sources such as the eye, the twelve sources such as the six external sources such as form, etc., are like creating a mandala of the earth, and like beings relying on the earth to move, all phenomena that appear as dualistic, although not truly established, appear as true in delusion. As stated in the Uttaratantra, "Improper attention dwells in the nature of the mind; through improper attention, karma and afflictions arise. From the water of karma and afflictions, aggregates, sources, and realms arise." Secondly, it is said in the scriptures, "Is it not so?" Thus, appearance is the self-appearance of the mind. Although the two, grasper and grasped, are not established, the consciousness that takes what is desired and abandons what is not desired in relation to all objects that appear as the two, grasper and grasped, which arise from illusory thoughts and are imputed as existent on what is non-existent, is a delusion. Why? Because external objects are imputed by the mind's delusion and are non-existent in reality, therefore there is nothing to be grasped. Because it does not exist, the grasper that relies on it also does not exist. However, it appears due to the power of the accumulation of beginningless habits. For example, in the sky, which is empty in nature, there is nothing to be taken or abandoned. Likewise, since the object is the appearance of one's own mind, there is nothing to be rejected or abandoned. However, if one desires the appearance of one's own mind and takes it, what arises? Therefore, there is nothing to be taken. Therefore, is the non-veridical pervasive thought that grasps the single self-appearance as two, taking and abandoning, not false? It is definitely false and untrue. Thirdly, having known that, it is said to refute. Thus, although it is said to be the antidote to the thoughts that grasp that the two, grasper and grasped, are not established, but
