What difference is there between that inherent wrong view? There is none at all. So it is said. Second, regarding the determination of pure and impure: From "action" to "wisdom." So it is said. The Buddhas, with their individual self-aware wisdom, observe all the worlds six times day and night, and simultaneously know the different mindstreams of sentient beings, etc., knowing Compassionate wisdom that radiates or moves for the benefit of others appears like momentary arising and ceasing. This is similar to the impure action, the movement of the mind, and the part that arises and ceases without depending on effort. If the Buddha's wisdom does not appear like arising and ceasing in the relative truth, then the Buddha's wisdom will not know or see the beings to be tamed, therefore the manifestations will not continuously appear, and the activities of the form bodies of both the enjoyment body and the manifestation body will be interrupted, which is unreasonable. However, that wisdom is not referred to by the name "action," because it does not exist in the fabricated true existence and is beyond one and many. It is called individual self-aware wisdom. As it is said in the Inner Meaning: "Pure imputation is individual self-awareness, the activity of the five gates of consciousness is accomplished." And as it is said in the Sutra Entering the Three Bodies: "The transformation of the basis of all is the mirror-like wisdom. The transformation of the mind abiding in the basis of all is the wisdom of equality. When the mind is transformed, it is the individual self-aware wisdom. The transformation of the five consciousnesses is the accomplishing wisdom." So it is said. Third, explaining the nature of accomplishing wisdom, divided into two: the appearance of the five gates, objects, and object-holders, and the difference and reason. First, from "arising" to "nothing at all." So it is said. What is the nature of the great elements of the cause, earth, water, fire, and wind, and so forth, the dependent forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures? In the time of sentient beings, the mind appears as an external object, therefore it is defiled by sudden defilements associated with grasping at names and signs, etc. When it is purified and transformed, in the state of Buddhahood, it becomes capable of perfecting the great power of wisdom, therefore it obtains mastery over pure realms and enjoys them as desired.

completely manifests. In the Ornament [of Clear Realization] it says: If one clings to meaningful things and they change, one will enjoy as desired. For the sake of the teachings, in a pure realm, one will obtain supreme power. Therefore, for both the appearances of deluded sentient beings and the perceptions of non-deluded noble ones, there is no difference in the mere appearance. For example, for both the audience of a magic show and the magician, there is no difference in the mere appearance of magical horses, cattle, women, and so on. Second, the difference and the reason are: From dualistic grasping, how does one enter? It is said. So, if there is no difference in the mere appearance for both sentient beings and Buddhas, why distinguish between delusion and non-delusion? Although there is no difference in the mere appearance, there is a difference in the way of grasping. Deluded ones have the grasping of the two—grasper and grasped—as different, while non-deluded ones do not have dualistic grasping, and that is the difference. That is, sentient beings, not knowing that appearances are inseparable from the mind's own appearances, grasp them as true and engage in acceptance and rejection, and thus become bound. For example, like the audience of a magic show grasping the magical horses, cattle, etc., as true. Nagarjuna said: Just as magic is, so too sentient beings engage with objects. Beings are of the nature of magic, and likewise arise dependently. The noble ones know that the appearance of objects is inseparable from emptiness and do not grasp them as true, and thus do not become deluded. For example, like a magician not grasping the horses, cattle, etc., that he himself conjures as true. In the Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning it says: Those great beings who see things as like reflections with the eye of wisdom, do not cling to the mire of objects. Therefore, Buddhas do not grasp appearances as being either real or unreal, like a reflection in water, but see them as inseparable from emptiness, and also guide others in that way. In the King of Samadhi Sutra it says: All the victorious ones who have passed into nirvana see everything as like a reflection in water. If the difference between the presence or absence of dualistic grasping is not like that, if the container and its contents do not appear as the objects of the Buddha's wisdom like a reflection in water, then how do the activities of the two form bodies of the victorious ones proceed in any place or in any way? Without the proceeding of activities...
