Ground. In this regard, in the stage of accumulation and junction, the conceptualization of grasping the two, what is to be abandoned and the antidote, is eliminated by focusing on suchness, and because of being free from the grasping conceptualization of the two, the nature of reality is directly seen, which is the path of seeing. The samadhi non-conceptual wisdom and the subsequent attainment of illusion-like grasping of samsara and nirvana as equal is only a conceptualization that focuses on suchness, and at this time, because the residue of afflictive emotions remains, it is the path of cultivation, residing in the impure seven grounds. Once the waves of mind, grasping, and conceptualization are gone, and the eighth ground is attained, only a sign of the fruit appears. This is taught by Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges, arising from non-conceptualization, and entering into the complete purification of the Buddha-field and the essence of enlightenment, therefore it is a pure ground. Furthermore, because the three grounds have abandoned the impure part of all seeds, the grasping of the sign of the fruit is also pacified, and thus being free from the four graspings of signs is called the non-conceptual wisdom of the Buddha. The fourth is: From that time on, it is called. It is said that at the time of being free from the defilements of the four graspings of signs just mentioned, the Dharmakaya abides in great peace, and being free from all elaborations, the one who has attained the body like space, the rays of light of knowledge, compassion, and power, and the flowers of marks and signs bloom, and thus the two form bodies benefit sentient beings. In the profound inner meaning, it is said: The Victorious One has a Dharmakaya like space, from the center of the sun of wisdom, in all the ten directions, the form body appears as long as samsara exists. Like that. Such a Buddha is the state of being impure with defilements, and the state of possessing both impurity and purity, and the state of being completely pure, these three are respectively called sentient beings in samsara, and Bodhisattvas who have entered the path, and Buddhas, the Thus-Gone Ones. Although it is said like this, the Buddha is not newly born from what did not exist before, but as it existed before, it will not change afterwards, because the Buddha's heart essence is the unchanging suchness of the essence. However, the changing part is the part that is liberated and separated from the sudden defilements, from the bondage of grasping the apprehended and the apprehender.

This is a description of it. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras: "Though there is no difference between before and after, stainless from all obscurations, suchness is considered the Buddha, neither pure nor impure." Thus it is said. The fourth general meaning is established through refutation, with seven points: briefly stating the unreasonableness of causelessness and external causes; explaining pure and impure consciousness; the nature of the wisdom of accomplished activity; the activity of accomplished activity; the meaning of equality wisdom; the manner of the permanence of the three bodies; and abandoning uncertainty about it. The first point is: "From where? What use is there?" Thus it is said. Those who have not understood the meaning of the scriptures and treatises, who have a wrong understanding of the sacred words, and whose minds are filled with evil views, hold the doctrine that the qualities of the Buddha arise from emptiness, causelessly. This is inconsistent with scripture and reason, and does not accord with the meaning of the sutras and tantras. As the Ghuyasamaja Tantra says: "Because the result is not other than the cause, the method is not emptiness." Nagarjuna said: "Likewise, in all seeds, a result similar to the cause arises. Without a seed, for there to be a result, who with intelligence could prove it?" Thus it is said. Or, some think that they do not inherently possess the qualities of the Buddha, but by newly implanting the habits of external hearing and thinking, repeatedly contemplating the meaning of what is heard, and meditating on that meaning, etc., through all these causes and conditions, those habits increase and expand, thereby newly generating the qualities of the Buddha that were not there before. This idea is unreasonable, because the body and wisdom of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are unconditioned, and are not produced by the causes and conditions of conditioned phenomena. As the Chakrasamvara Tantra says: "For that which is naturally spontaneously accomplished, to be produced by cause and condition is delusion." Maitreya said: "Suchness is pure in all this, without distinction. The Tathagata is therefore, all beings possess its essence." Thus it is said. Furthermore, externalist eternalists, such as the Ishvaravadins, believe that all internal and external phenomena are created by Ishvara. Nihilists, such as the Puranakassapa, believe that all phenomena arise causelessly and naturally.
