The great translator Ngok Lotsawa Lodan Sherab, while studying Dharma in Kashmir, heard these teachings and translated them into Tibetan on the spot, widely propagating them in Tibet. Prior to this, the great scholar and Bodhisattva of the Good Aeon, Jowo Je (Atisha), was requested by the abbot of Yerpa, Jangchub Jungne, and translated by Naktsowa Lotsawa Tsultrim Gyalwa. Subsequently, Sharawa Chenpo also taught based on it, but later, most students preferred Ngok's translation, so it is said that the master taught based on Ngok's translation twice. Later, Patsab Lotsawa, Marpa Dopa, and many others also translated the Uttaratantra, but it seems that extensive teaching and learning based on those translations did not occur. Ngok Lotsawa wrote a small commentary on the Uttaratantra's explanation. Based on that, his disciples Drolungpa Lodro Jungne and Zhang Tsepangpa Chokyi Lama each wrote a commentary. Based on those two, Zhang's disciple Nyangrenpa Chokyi Sherab wrote an explanation, and later, Chapa Choseng, his disciple Tsang Nagpa Tsondru Senge, and Danbagpa Smawei Senge also wrote many explanations. Followers of them, such as Lodro Tsungme, Phagdru Gyaltsen Zangpo, Rongton Sheja Kunzig, and many other scholars, spread volumes of explanations throughout Tibet, all following Ngok Lotsawa, but there are many inconsistencies in the usage of Dharma terms. Furthermore, it is said that the disciple of Grapa Mongshe, known as Tsankha Woche, also went to Kashmir with the great translator. He said to Sajjana, "I am going to perform the death practice for the Dharma of Lord Maitreya, please grant me the key instructions and keep them in mind." Then, Zugawe Dorje acted as the translator and spoke all five of Maitreya's Dharmas. He also granted the key instructions for the Uttaratantra very well, and Tsen Drime Sherab returned to Tibet and taught in U-Tsang. Zugawe Dorje wrote an ornamental commentary on the Uttaratantra in accordance with Sajjana's teachings, and also translated the root text and commentary of the Dharmata-Vibhanga. This school is also known as the Maitreya Dharma Meditation School, and it has unique and superior explanations and practice features. Although these traditions originated from this, they did not surpass the vision of wisdom.

Regarding the concise meaning of the chapters of the Uttaratantra composed by Rangjung Dorje, the all-knowing one who realized the intention of the Victorious One as it is, Karma Könzhön and others have extensively explained it, and Karma Trinlepa the Great has composed a commentary with instructions on practice. Gö Lotsawa Zhönnu Pal also made a very detailed explanation of Asanga's commentary, which is in accordance with this tradition. Kunkhyen Dolpopa the Great established a unique tradition, following the commentary, and the lineage of disciples, both general and specific, including the teachings and practices of Taranatha and others, established the tradition of commentary, which continues to this day. Later, Kunsig Chökyi Jungne heard it from Palchenpo Chökyi Döndrup and taught it many times, and in that lineage, the wise Zurmang Lhalungpa Karma Tänpel also received the annotation of the commentary well. Therefore, here, we mainly follow in the footsteps of Gyalwa Rangjung Zhap. Fifth, the Bhagavan said, "All sentient beings constantly possess the essence of the Tathagata." Therefore, the meaning of this essence is taken as the basis for explanation. Regarding the method of explanation, in both India and Tibet, there are countless different traditions that follow their respective scriptures, reasoning, and meditation. However, the Madhyamika masters of definitive meaning hold this view: all the definitive meanings of the three turnings of the Dharma wheel are summarized into the two selflessnesses. The ultimate meaning of this is that both the grasping and the grasped, in terms of persons and in terms of phenomena, are empty. It is not merely a negation of emptiness, as it is said in the Madhyantavibhāga: "Because there is no reality in persons or phenomena, emptiness is this, the non-reality of that, which is empty of that." As it is said, it is not the emptiness of negating non-existence, but the self-knowing, self-illuminating nature, which is explained here as the essence of the Tathagata. And this is precisely the definitive meaning of the Vajra. The Vajra itself is divided into three due to the difference in states: impure, impure-pure, and, completely pure, in that order, sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and, the Tathagata, it is said. As it appears. Temporary
