Therefore, it is shown by the examples of vajra, lion, pure space, and the moon in the water. It is said that the ten powers of the Tathagata are unwavering because of their respective non-contradictory aspects, and the four fearlessnesses are like lions because of their unwavering courage. The eighteen unshared qualities are unshared and dissimilar to the Shravakas, etc. The two form bodies with excellent marks are because the Dharmakaya is the same as space and unwavering, but appears to those to be tamed. The four categories of qualities are, in order, the substance of the vajra, the king of beasts, the lion, the unconditioned space, and the four metaphors of the moon that is clear due to purification. The second part is divided into two: the explanation of the fruit of liberation and the fruit of maturation. The first part is also divided into four: the way in which power, fearlessness, and unshared qualities are separated and represented by metaphors, and the way in which they are combined without distinction. The first part, power, is also divided into two: individual and common representations. The first is: Among the powers, the six powers, three and one, in order, the knowledge is equally entered, and all the habits are eliminated, armor walls like trees, for the sake of penetration, destruction and cutting. It is said that among the ten powers, the first six powers, the middle three, and the last power, in order, eliminate all the obscurations of knowledge, the obscurations of equal entry, and the obscurations with habits, so they are like vajra. The three obscurations are like armor, walls, and trees, existing in the order of power, penetration, destruction, and cutting. The second is: firmness and essence are unwavering, the power of the sage is like a vajra. Because firmness is the essence, because the essence is firmness, because firmness is unwavering, because unwavering is like a vajra. It is said that firmness, essence, stability, and non-reversal, possessing the four qualities of virtue, therefore, all the ten powers of the great sage, the perfect Buddhas, are like vajra. What is the reason for that?

Why is it said to be firm? Because it is the essence of all phenomena of samsara and nirvana. Why is it said to be the essence? Because it is uncreated and spontaneously accomplished, therefore it is firm. Why is it said to be firm? Because it is not shaken by all conflicting aspects such as conceptualization and signs. Therefore, all that should be abandoned can be destroyed, and what has been abandoned will not be shaken again, so the ten powers are like the substance of a vajra. Second, the representation of fearlessness has two aspects: brief explanation and detailed explanation. The first is: Because of fearlessness, there is no dependence; because of firmness, the ability is perfect. The Sage is like a lion, without fear in the assembly of attendants. It is said that because there is no fear of anyone and because there is no dependence on others, because the power of wisdom is extremely firm, and because the ability to destroy conflicting aspects is perfect. Therefore, because he possesses these four qualities, the King of Sages, the lion among men, just as a lion has four qualities and is fearless among beasts, he abides without fear and timidity in the midst of the boundless assembly of attendants. The second is: Because of complete knowledge, he abides without fear of anything. Because he sees pure beings and himself as unequal, he is independent. Because his mind is one-pointed on all phenomena, it is firm. Because he has transcended the ground of extremely difficult-to-sever ignorance and habitual tendencies, he possesses ability. It is said, so how do we know that he possesses these four qualities? Because he directly knows all aspects of knowable things without exception, he is able to prophesy all questions, and therefore he abides without fear of any beings such as externalists. Also, because pure beings, shravaka arhats, and bodhisattvas abiding on the ten bhumis are purified by their respective obscurations, he himself is not equal to them, and he observes them as superior, so he does not depend on anyone else. Because his mind does not conceptualize all phenomena of suchness and as-many-as-there-are, and abides in one-pointedness, his samadhi is always firm. Because it is extremely difficult to sever
