That's it. Because the karma of previous practice has awakened, and because of one's own strong aspiration, overcoming suffering and bad reputation, one requested the essential instructions for taming self-grasping. Now, even if I die, I have no regrets. This means that the great virtuous friend Chekhawa, his previous karma awakened, because he had special faith in this Dharma, with great effort, from the oral transmission of Jowo and his sons, requested and diligently practiced the essential instructions for taming self-grasping, the root of all Dharmas, and generated altruism that cherishes others more than oneself, completely cutting off the bonds of selfishness. Therefore, the ultimate meaning of entering the Dharma has been accomplished, and he has gained certainty, so he has no regrets. The last two verses are the author's concluding words. Second, supplementing with the essential instructions of the lineage: Thus, this profound Dharma of mind training, if one lives alone, is a companion, because all suffering and happiness can be transformed into the path through mind training. Moreover, if negative karma manifests because of the profound Dharma, and the mind wavers, wanting to go and wanting to stay, wanting to stay and wanting to go, etc., then one should practice like this: Your nature is like this, this dwelling is also very good, and the mind is also peaceful. Otherwise, with your ability to endure suffering, not falling into hell is truly fortunate, not experiencing torment is truly fortunate. Furthermore, one should intensely contemplate fear, and severely scold oneself, reduce food, practice asceticism, reduce clothing, accept inferiority, overcome suffering and happiness, and practice the antidote. As stated in the 'Stages of a Bodhisattva,' one should grasp the key point to scold oneself. When sick, one should be a servant, that is, in front of doctors, servants, relatives, etc., when thinking of doing something better than this, this sickness is not caused by others, but by self-grasping. If medicine and servants were useful, it would not have been like this before, even if one did not think like this, no one can escape this fear. This time, self-grasping, you need this, thinking of being satisfied, and on this basis, learn to accept the illnesses and evil spirits of others. In addition, Jowo Serlingpa said: All conceptual thoughts must be completely destroyed, all antidotes must be shattered. All intentions must be unified, and all paths must be decided as one.

The four dharmas of purification are: necessary for subduing border areas, needed in the degenerate age when enduring evil retinues and wrong practices. It is said. As soon as a thought arises, immediately destroy it in the state of mind training or emptiness. All antidotes are not slowly cultivated from the outside, but as soon as afflictions arise, they are immediately destroyed like lightning. Do not set up many immediate and long-term plans, but focus solely on what benefits the mind and destroys self-grasping as much as possible. When one is separated from self-grasping, one becomes a Buddha, so take one path to the end, without having to count the stages. If you summarize all the antidotes on the side of purification, they are contained in these four dharmas. Bad conditions are virtuous friends, ghosts and demons are emanations of the victors, diseases are brooms for obscurations, and suffering is the resource of dharmata. The four dharmas of all afflictions are: necessary for subduing border areas, needed in the degenerate age when enduring evil retinues and wrong practices. It is said. Relying on bad conditions to accumulate merit and purify obscurations, remembering the sacred Dharma, enhancing realization, etc., because they do the work of virtuous friends, there is no need to abandon bad conditions. If the illusions of gods and demons and the harm of spirits occur, they will become helpers in increasing virtue and vows, so they are emanations of the lama and the Buddha, so there is no need to be afraid. When practicing the sacred Dharma properly, because of past bad karma, various diseases will arise in the body, and when they arise, not to mention serious illnesses, even a slight headache can purify all the obscurations accumulated from beginningless time, as if sweeping them away with a broom, as repeatedly stated in the sutras, so cultivate joy in disease. When suffering arises in the mind, looking at the nature of suffering, it will appear as emptiness. No matter how great the suffering, it is a resource of dharmata, so there is no need to be discouraged. When those arise, it is good that they arise, and they can be taken as helpers in practice. Therefore, do not abandon the four dharmas of all afflictions, which are the key instructions for practice. Happiness is a great oppression, suffering is a great ending, the least needed is wish fulfillment, which is taking bad omens as cliffs. The four dharmas of reversing antidotes are: border areas
