Most of the Sanghas are guided through the stages of the path transmitted from the Kadampa tradition, and all these rules must be followed. The Kadampa tradition also has three lineages: the lineage of vast conduct, the lineage of profound view, and the lineage of practice and blessing. The latter is transmitted from Tailopa Naropa and is sure to converge on one essential point. In general, in any of the three vehicles, each individual who has awakened their lineage should be guided from higher to higher paths, so there will be many boundaries and categories. Here, it refers to those who have no concern for their own benefit or the affairs of this life, but who regard the six realms of beings as kind parents, and who are most eager to attain perfect enlightenment for their sake, and who should practice. Although they are sharp-witted individuals of the Mahayana lineage, since the faculties of beings can change, dull faculties can become sharp, inferior and unawakened lineages can awaken into superior lineages, and those who are unsuitable as vessels for pith instructions can become suitable. Therefore, in order to completely subdue them, practicing the preliminary practices of all the stages of guidance will make them fortunate ones in whom the main practice will arise in their continuum. The preliminary practices are also divided into distant transmission and close transmission. Initially, there are the paths of the lesser and intermediate persons, and later the path of the great person, as taught by Jowo Je (Atisha). In accordance with this, Je Dagpo Rinpoche (Gampopa) also spoke of the four dharmas, and these must also be preceded by the preceding ones. The guide should ideally have perfected qualities of abandonment and realization and know the capacity of the disciples. Even if this is not the case, one should not just remain in hearing for a few years, gaining for a few years, and meditating for a few years, but should guide in accordance with how one's own unmistaken experience has arisen through arduous practice. Abandon false noisy guidance, greedy powerful guidance, guidance with examples of little knowledge, and the swaying guidance of great figures. The word guidance of a Pandit, the subtle guidance of a meditator, the experiential guidance of a yogi, the intentional guidance of a realized one, and the pointing guidance of an old woman are all in accordance with the meaning. When practicing the guidance, one should not be carried away by laziness and distraction, because one's own awareness is

Oṃ. External objects are bright and adept at deception, so there is a danger of being controlled by them. In order not to be controlled by them, it is necessary to explain the preliminary practices, the main practices, and the subsequent practices in order. First, the preliminary practices are divided into three types: common preliminary practices, uncommon preliminary practices, and special preliminary practices. First, the four common preliminary practices are: the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, impermanence of death, karma and its results, and contemplating the faults of samsara. First, the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment: First, it is necessary to obtain understanding and certainty of the difficulty of obtaining leisure and endowment, as stated in the Ornament of Liberation: "The basis, the human body, is the supreme jewel." The so-called leisure and endowment of the human body means that in order to accomplish higher rebirth and definite goodness, there is no leisure to do evil deeds, so it is "leisure"; in order to accomplish higher rebirth and definite goodness, it has perfect conditions, so it is "endowment." Or, having an interest in virtue is "leisure," and being able to actually practice virtue is "endowment." Or, abandoning the eight states of no leisure is "leisure," and possessing the ten endowments is "endowment." The eight states of no leisure are stated in the Abhidharma: "Hell beings, hungry ghosts, and animals, borderlands, long-lived gods, and wrong views, no Buddhas appearing, and being mute, these are the eight states of no leisure." The ten endowments are: "Human body, born in the central land, faculties complete, not engaging in inverted actions, having faith in the object of faith." These are the five self-endowments. "Buddha appearing, teaching the Dharma, the teachings abiding, entering the holy teachings, having compassion for sentient beings." These are the five other-endowments. In short, the human body that possesses the eight leisures and ten endowments is called the leisure and endowment of the human body. Because it is difficult to obtain and has great benefits, it is called a "jewel" like jewels and the Dharma. In particular, in order to achieve enlightenment in one lifetime on the path of Vajrayana, it must be the human body of Jambudvipa with the six elements, this Vajra body is the only one, and such a body is the result of practicing virtue, abandoning evil, and accumulating merit in the past, so it is very rare. From what perspective is it difficult to obtain? Among the eight states of no leisure, the human body that can practice the holy Dharma is very rare, so the leisure and endowment of the human body that can practice the Dharma now is as rare as a star in the daytime.
