One should examine each and every one until the bones and flesh are in harmony. Likewise, does the mind abide in external objects of the environment and beings, or does it abide in the internal body of ripening karma? If it abides in the body, does it abide in the parts and pieces from the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, or does it abide universally? If it abides universally, does it abide in the manner of outer and inner, or does it abide in a mixed manner? If mixed, one should examine how the mind goes when it is scattered on external objects and things, and so on. Likewise, is the nature of the mind in the grasp of emptiness or in the grasp of clarity? Is the emptiness a nothingness emptiness or an emptiness like the sky? And for the clear and aware, how does it appear, like the light of the sun and moon or like a butter lamp, etc.? For this, one should investigate and analyze until the bones and flesh meet and the matter is settled. If one only keeps what one has heard and understood in mind without investigating, one will not be able to reach a conclusion, so one should investigate to get to the bottom of it. If one clings to wrong views, one should abandon the harmful and analyze it again, so it is easy to determine that it is not composed of shape, color, place, support, and substance. If one understands the nature, the grasp, as abiding naturally in the state of clarity and emptiness, then the trick of being in the experience of abiding is not included. Therefore, one should strongly offer mandalas and prayers, and one should investigate each of the ways of clarity, the ways of emptiness, and the ways of abiding. Since it is not composed of objects and substances, it has no shape or color, and there is no place or support. If there is no grasp of "this is this," but one understands it as something like clarity and emptiness that cannot be expressed but can be experienced, if one controls understanding or hearing with the head, many inconsistencies will arise and it will not last. If it is experience, even if one does not know how to say it, the meaning will come to a single conclusion. If that happens, then experience has arisen. However, some are skilled at speaking and have good words, but have no experience, and some are not good at speaking and cannot express it, but experience has arisen, so the lama should carefully cut the flesh from the experience and come to a conclusion. In the past, the clear and distinct calm abiding, in the state of non-thought, looking at the mind with nakedness, is a knowledge that cannot be expressed by words. Without grasping, the clear and distinct clarity and emptiness of self-awareness, like a bright and radiant light, should be cultivated without distraction. Secondly, the body posture etc. should be done as before, and anger should arise from the state of clear and empty mind without grasping.
