Great bliss is without inherent existence. Compassion is all-pervading, continuous, and without cessation. This Buddha, endowed with seven limbs, is acknowledged by me through valid cognition, and is also acknowledged by the wise. Thus, having made the Buddha with three bodies and seven limbs the meaning of the fourth empowerment to be expressed, in the precious tantras it is said, "Thus, thus, the fourth also." With the three words 'thus,' 'thus,' and 'fourth,' using the experience of the third empowerment as an example, the meaning of the fourth empowerment to be expressed is explained, and thus it also appears to be introducing the meaning of the result and the reality. The enjoyment body is blazing with marks and signs. That much is also present in Tara, so it is the union body. Just union is also present in the male and female transformed by a magician, so it is great bliss. If one thinks that this is truly established, then its nature is emptiness and falsity, like a city of gandharvas and a moon in water. However, it is not just emptiness, so it is the nature of objectless compassion. This is also not just temporary like a nirmanakaya, but always abides continuously. This also has no final nirvana, so it is without cessation. By introducing the meaning of these, both the result, the ground of Buddhahood, and the meaning of reality are introduced. In general, the manifestation of reality is the result, so introducing either of the two, in effect, introduces both. The feet of the teacher, the physician, also said that each of the first, second, and third empowerments has eleven different points: teacher, offering, vow, mandala, empowerment, self-nature, antidote, ground, ritual, view, and definition. In the case of the fourth, he said, "Because nature exists, there is no teacher; because there is no value, there is no offering; because it is superior to vows, there are no vows; that itself is the mandala, so there is no mandala; because it is obtained by power, there is no empowerment; because of the general aspect, there is no self-nature; because all dharmas are antidotes, there is no antidote; because it is the place of Vajradhara, there is no ground; because there is no nature, there is no ritual; view and definition are all absent; the lama has truly spoken thus." This is also introducing the meaning of reality.

It appears thus. In short, the intention of all wise and accomplished ones is that the wisdom of the third empowerment is taken as the cause, and then the meaning of the fruit and the true nature is introduced, so the arising of wisdom that is superior to the former is the meaning of the fourth empowerment being conferred with rituals. It does not appear to be a single intention that one can generate wisdom by relying on mudra separately from the third empowerment. As it is said in "The Clear Union", "The word 'thus' is to cut off the previous entity, the third (empowerment) is the empowerment of wisdom, which itself becomes the fourth (empowerment)." Also, as said by the Physician's Feet, "One born from wisdom should be known as the fourth." Also, as said by the great accomplished Drilbupa, "Here, with the oral instructions, know the lama above these three stages. This is one's own beautiful woman, abandoning external objects." And so on. The meaning of the root and explanatory tantras quoted earlier can be known from the two mandala rituals and the way of explanation by Jetsun Tsemö. Third, the way to generate realization by introducing it with words is, Jetsun said, "Then the subsequent instruction is the word itself, this wisdom is extremely subtle, like the center of the vajra sky, free from dust, perfectly peaceful, your father is yourself." Recite this verse, explain its meaning in detail, and generate realization. Then, in order to generate meaning, rest the mind slightly in the space four fingers wide from the tip of the nose, then eight fingers wide, then gradually examine the edge of the sky. Just as the sky has no beginning or end, show that the mind has no beginning or end. Just as the sky cannot be damaged by compounded harm, the mind cannot be destroyed by sudden causes. Just as the sky pervades all vessels and essences, the mind pervades all dharmas of samsara and nirvana. Just as the sky is free from color and shape, show that the mind is empty of all thoughts such as grasping and being grasped. It is also said that there is no beginning or end, no birth or death, no edge or center, no going or coming. Relax your efforts and rest in that state for a while. Then, as mentioned earlier, the fourth and fifth of the words are introduced. Third, relying on the edge is, reciting "In this extremely secret mandala" and so on. The meaning is, in short, you
