So, is it understood arbitrarily because it is necessary? No. Because the words of the Omniscient One are extremely difficult to understand. For example, like the great ocean. How is it similar to the ocean? The great ocean has three characteristics: depth, difficulty in measuring, and no end. Similarly, the words of the Sugata are also deep because they focus on the ultimate Suchness, and each word also has multiple meanings depending on the disposition of the trainees, so it is difficult to measure, and because countless Dharmas corresponding to the dispositions and habits of the trainees are taught, it is endless. The second point is: The Vajrayana is spoken with many intentions, and sealed with Vajra words. This means that the meaning of the Vajrayana tantras is extremely difficult to understand, because they are spoken with many intentions such as direct and hidden meanings, literal and non-literal, and sealed with Vajra words that are difficult to decipher like Vajra, namely the three tantras, three purities, three self-natures, four abodes, six instructions, seven jewels, and seven secrets. The third point is: Those prophesied, such as Nagarjuna, or those blessed by the Dakinis, such as Virupa, rely on the instructions of the Siddhas, and later followers will be able to understand the teachings. This means that since it is so difficult to understand, is there no way for later followers to understand the Buddha's intention? No. In the Lankavatara Sutra and the Great Drum Sutra, etc., the noble Nagarjuna, who was prophesied to destroy the extreme views of existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, etc., and the noble Asanga, who was prophesied in the Manjushri Root Tantra, etc., and Dharmakirti, etc. In addition, there are also Virupa, who was personally blessed by fifteen wisdom Dakinis and attained the realization of the sixth bhumi, and Buddhajnanapada, who was blessed by the Protector Manjushri, and the great Siddha Kunkhyen Kunga Nyingpo, who was blessed by the Holy Tara, etc., who understood the true meaning of the teachings without error, transmitted in succession from faultless virtuous gurus.

Depending on this, later practitioners will also be able to understand the meaning of the Buddha's words without reversing it. Nowadays in Tibet, even accomplished ones are sentient beings, so they may misunderstand the meaning of the Buddha's words. Therefore, in order to practice without misunderstanding, one must practice according to the tantras as they are. They say that the literal meaning of the tantras should be explained when there is a need to explain the definitive and provisional meanings, the definitive meanings should be explained in the context of the provisional meanings, the practices of beginners should be combined with the practices of those who have attained stability, and the practices of those who have attained stability should be combined with the practices of beginners, etc., doing many irrelevant things, and many follow them. Those people must prove that they are not sentient beings. In the tantra that prophesies the meaning, it says: "Secret Lord, the one with vast meaning, once this great way is obtained, having grasped the meaning as it is, therefore one will fall into evil paths." This also refers to such people. Entering the tantras arbitrarily without the oral instructions of the guru is condemned in the tantras. In the Samputa Tantra it says: "The inner distinctions must be obtained from the mouth of the guru. With the mind of an inferior guru, mantras and mudras cannot be obtained." And so on, many things are said. This comes from the mouth. Fourth is: "The main subject of meaning, Virocana, etc., you have the oral instructions of the path in your mind. However, in order not to reject the kindness, I have written down only this much of my own thoughts." That is, the first half shows the reason why it is not necessary to explain in detail, and the second half shows the commitment to write only a brief summary. Among them, if it appears in the text "not rejecting kindness," it should be combined with "in order not to reject the Buddha's letter urging to write." If it appears in the text "kindness," since he is the nephew of Guru Kyura Askyab, it refers to the vows of the lineage, but the latter is correct. Second, regarding the actual text to be written, there are two meanings: briefly explaining what is to be expressed and the reason for not explaining in detail. The first point has three: indicating the common path of samsara and nirvana, indicating the path of the wheel that conforms to the world, and if one practices diligently, one can attain the tenets.
