Sending messages to other kings, conveying the meaning of a verse in each letter, or conveying meanings in two letters, and so on, and then sending messages back in the same way. Seeing one person paying close attention to reading those messages, and seeing that person was suitable as a vessel for the true teachings, the teacher said, "Do you want the true teachings?" He replied, "How could I not want them? I do want them." The teacher said, "Then you need empowerment, go and find the items for empowerment." After finding them, the teacher gave him empowerment and bestowed the true teachings, saying, "Whatever you become attached to, let it go. If conceptualization arises, everything is it. No one can point out anything other than that." Having said this, he disappeared. Then he thought, "If I do the work of a king, the essential work of practice will not succeed. If I don't do it, my livelihood will depend on other things like fruits, and there will be summer and autumn, but there will be no winter and spring. If I beg like the teacher, for a beginner like me, giving will generate attachment, and not giving will generate anger, what should I do?" Thinking this, he went along, and eventually arrived at a place called Bhalentra, where there was a city of fishermen on the banks of the Ganges, where people killed many fish. Seeing piles of fish guts, he thought, "I have no power to stop this." Because the heat could not digest the food, he meditated on the teachings of Sarahapa, combining the tummo of ordinary people and the tummo of light, generating the power of fire, thinking, "If I can digest even signs and conceptualizations, why can't I digest these?" So, with an angry mind, he ate them and they were digested. Then he left that place and went to another place, relying on fish guts for sustenance, and focused on practice. Flawless wisdom arose in his mind, so everywhere, that former scribe was known as Luipa, a yogi who had attained realization. The king also heard about it and searched everywhere, but could not find him. Then, the teacher saw that the time was ripe to subdue the former king, and in order to bring him to the Dharma, he went to the king's city. At that time, that king

A small kingdom came to offer tribute, so all the streets were cleaned, decorated with silk banners, and equipped with incense chambers, decorated with umbrellas and curtains. They saw the king's throne set up in the garden. The teacher lay down and sat on the king's throne. When the king arrived, a Brahmin named the master of ceremonies first recited auspicious verses, stuck kusha grass behind his ears, and came with a bottle full of water, sacred threads, etc., in order to purify the filth of the streets and so on in advance. Seeing a blue-skinned, sun-dried, disheveled, unclothed man eating fish intestines sitting on the king's throne, he returned and reported to the king. The king said, "Drive him out!" But the Brahmin couldn't drive him away. Other people also helped to drive him away, but he was like grasping a big mountain and couldn't be driven away. He looked at the Brahmin with angry eyes and sang a song: "How big is this tri-chiliocosm? How big is all the peaceful place? The king is the only master, and the other masters are his servants. Treating the behavior of good and noble people with ridicule is really strange! Alas, samsara is so wonderful! It's useless to say more, what else can others do?" After singing, those Brahmins reported to the king that they couldn't drive him away. The king said, "I will go and see for myself." So he went with his army. The teacher looked at them with angry eyes, and everyone froze. At that time, a wise मंत्री (Sanskrit: mantrī, advisor, मंत्री) knew that he was a person who had attained accomplishment, and treated him respectfully, so everyone was freed. मंत्री (Sanskrit: mantrī, advisor, मंत्री) said, "Respect the king!" The king did so, and the king was also freed. Everyone else did the same, and they were freed from physical stiffness, slurred speech, and mental confusion. After that, the king asked, "Who are you?" The teacher said, "Who are you?" The king said, "I am the king." The teacher said, "I am also the king." The king said, "You don't have the enjoyment of a king, no bed, wife, fan, lamp, etc." The teacher sang a song: "The earth is a huge bed, my arms are pillows.
