In the upper part of the valley of Mu, where many great beings had not yet come, in a place called Tamo Lingga, when his father Konchok Zangpo was thirty-four years old, his mother Namkha Kyong gave birth to this lord in the year of the Earth Male Dragon, and he was named Konchok Dar. His lineage was Shang, and his clan was Dong. His ancestor Shang Wodan came to Mu. His son Shang Yungnge practiced diligently on the Eleven-faced Avalokiteśvara, and lived for eighty-six years. His son was Konchok Zangpo, who received novice ordination from Namkha Lodro, and his Dharma name was Konchok Pal. After that, he learned the Meaning Hook and the Six Yogas from the Jonangpa Namchopa. He learned some profound instructions from Mu Chen Namkhai Naljorpa, and diligently practiced the Meaning Hook's dharani and the six-syllable mantra. Therefore, this lord was born into a family of holy beings. Second, from the time he was young, etc., one verse. From the time he was young, this lord, relying only on the changes of external objects, developed a mind of impermanence, and developed aversion to all worldly things. Thinking of the infinite number of beings, people and cows, and various animals, he realized the infinity of samsara, and developed a strong mind of renunciation. When he was two or three years old, when he was sleeping in his parents' arms, he developed a samadhi that realized the falsity of appearances. When he was playing, he also made the small things bow down to the big things, such as the stones and the gods of the tea house, and made them monks, and asked for initiation, etc., and did not play ordinary games. When he arrived at caves and other places, he made gestures of meditation, etc. It is said that all his actions were aimed at doing good. After that, before the age of nine, he heard some Dharma from Lama Gurupa, and a woman named Lama Khandroba, and Lama Namkha Lodro. Third, when entering the doctrine, etc., one verse. At the age of nine, he received novice ordination from Khenpo Gyalse Tokme's direct disciple Wangwo Zangpo, and Acharya Pelwopa, and received the Kalachakra Tantra initiation from the Khenpo, the great

The Notebook of Nabo's Mind Training. Heard the teachings on the conduct of the Bodhisattvas composed by Drogon Pal Yewa. The fourth part has two points: How to listen from other teachers, and how to listen from the supreme teacher. The first point is: Seven verses such as 'Hearing is like the ocean.' Noble beings, by the power of being accustomed to the right path in all lifetimes, enter the island of the ocean of hearing from a young age. It is also heard that: When he was thirteen years old, he went to the Mule Lung Monastery of Mus, and practiced Prajnaparamita and the Bodhisattvacharyavatara in the presence of the brothers Chenpo Jang Sengwa. In the meantime, he received the complete Kalachakra initiation and the Vajrabhairava initiation from Lama Namkha Chosangpa. From Jang Sengwa, he heard the transmission of the first chapter of the Prajnaparamita Butika, and also heard the mind training of Zhingmo Chewa. At the age of eighteen, he gave teachings at the same monastery and held a grand celebration. At the age of twenty, he went to the new temple of Mus, and at the feet of the great accomplished master, the unequaled Namkhai Naljorpa, he requested the instructions on the Chöd practice, the secret instructions of the Prajnaparamita. In general, the Chöd instructions are divided into six sessions, but without the distinction of sessions, he practiced diligently day and night, and many visions of realization arose, and immeasurable love and compassion arose in his heart. In particular, he practiced Guru Yoga, and strongly prayed to be shown where his mother would be reborn in the future. When he looked, signs of 'this and this' appeared twice, and many special experiences of realization arose. After that, regarding his Dharma teachings, the Chöd instructions transmitted from Kyeme Dopa, the history of Machig, etc., the history of Drapa Hag, the Kagyu of the Naked Chinese, the Kagyu of the Yellow Beard, the teachings of the Kacho, the thirty-fifth time of the teachings of the Kacho, the small and large verses of Aryadeva with commentary, the category of introducing the view, the category of practice and conduct, the category of exorcism and obstacle removal, the thirteen-step path, etc., all of Machig's Dharma teachings.

He heard the completion in [a certain] place. At the age of twenty-one, he approached the great abbot Lodrö Gyaltsenpa and his junior disciple, the virtuous friend Sangye Lodröpa, at the great monastery of Ngamring. He mainly focused on studying Prajnaparamita and Pramana. From Sangye Lodröpa, he heard the transmissions of the hundred minor teachings of Jowo. At the age of twenty-three, he also engaged in philosophical debate at the same monastery. At the age of twenty-four, he went to Upper Lo to meet the great scholar of Zangdan, Thukje Palwa. He stayed there for about a year, thoroughly studying scriptures and logic, and became a true master of epistemology, gaining the courage to face any opponent in debate without fear. At the age of twenty-five, he met Yakdruk Sangye Pal, the lord of scholars of Jambudvipa, who had come to Upper Lo. He heard two and a half rounds of explanations on Prajnaparamita, as well as the transmission of the Condensed Sutra, the sadhana of White Achala, and the generation stage of the Madhyamaka school. In the same year, he engaged in philosophical debate at the great monastery of Palden Sakya, and everyone agreed that he was accomplished in both explanation and demonstration. At the age of twenty-six, at the temple called "Dokgi Tsana," he met the great bodhisattva Zhonnu Gyalchokpa, the crown jewel of Tibetan scholars, and went to pay his respects. He devoted himself to studying scriptures and logic. At the age of twenty-seven, he went to Nyesar to meet Dharma Lord Namkhai Naljorpa. He was very pleased with the intense practice and the special arising of realization from the time he had previously requested the Chöd instructions, and said, "Now request a 'gu cig' and devote yourself to practice." But he replied, "First, I will engage in philosophical debate on some volumes of the Vinaya, Abhidharma, and the Root Verses on the Middle Way, and then request to devote myself to practice." He said, "If you understand the meaning of the Dharma, there is no fault even if you don't debate. If you don't understand the meaning, there is no need to debate even if you do, so by all means, devote yourself to practice." He said, "Then I will do that." First, he requested the blessings and guidance of the Six Dharmas of Niguma, as well as the guidance on the Deathless Mind, etc. The Vajra Lines of the Six Dharmas, the Clear Word Key, the guidance written by Muschenpa, the root commentary on the Illusion Path, Illusion.
