Your biography, possessing all the faultless qualities and treasures, Even if spoken by countless tongues for eons, would not be exhausted, yet even so, With unerring speech, I will here relate only the common fame. May the assembly of sincere, faithful, and truth-seeking ones listen with joy. The wisdom and compassion of all the Buddhas were gathered into one, and in this degenerate age, in the midst of these snow mountains, he emanated in human form. That great being who works for the benefit of beings, in the world of gods and humans, Who is universally known as Könchok Gyaltsen, his biography, the wondrous stream, was previously propagated in seventy verses. Again, at the urging of those who have faith in the supreme land, I will write this Wondrous Ocean, which explains its meaning, and there is no fault in doing so.
