There are four points: refuting the mistaken understanding of the merit to be dedicated; refuting the mistaken practice of the method of dedication; refuting the mistaken understanding of the fruit of dedication; and in summary, revealing the key to the law of karma. The first point is divided into two parts: stating the previous view and refuting it. This has five points: refuting the view that the Dharmadhatu is the essence of dedication; refuting the view that realms other than the Dharmadhatu are the essence of dedication; refuting the view that there is a distinction in the Dharmadhatu as to whether or not it is the essence of dedication; therefore, establishing the reason for considering freedom from elaboration as the essence; and explaining that the essence other than freedom from elaboration is provisional meaning. The first point has three parts: refuting by means of both scripture and reasoning; refuting the answer to its fault; and refuting by means of contradictory scriptural statements. The first point has three parts: brief statement, detailed explanation, and summary of the meaning. The middle part has two points: refuting by means of trustworthy scripture; and refuting by means of the reasoning of actual force. The first point has three parts: quoting the scripture that the Dharmadhatu is not suitable as the virtue of dedication; explaining the meaning of the scripture that says Suchness is virtuous; and how to explain the meaning of the scripture that is the basis of error. The first point has three parts: the scripture that the Dharmadhatu does not change by dedication; the scripture that the Dharmadhatu has no good or evil; and incidentally refuting the view that the purifier of the essence is the essence. The second point has five parts: how it is explained in the scripture; explaining its intention; proving it by means of examples; if one thinks otherwise, it will be too extreme; and refuting other inherent virtues. The third point, how to explain the meaning of the scripture that is the basis of error, has three parts: briefly stating the way of explaining; refuting other ways of explaining; and how one explains oneself. The second point is divided into two parts: brief statement and detailed explanation. This has three points: asserting that the word "as many as" is unreasonable; asserting that the word "exists" is unreasonable; asserting that the word "all beings" is unreasonable. The third point, how one explains oneself, has three parts: explaining the meaning of the scripture without reversing it; proving it by means of examples; and proving it by scripture. The second point, refuting the answer to its fault, is divided into two parts: stating the opponent's view and refuting it. This has four points: showing that dedication with focus is poisonous; showing that dedication without focus is mind training; dedication with focus is

Reasons why mind training is not appropriate: If one makes the objectless as an object, it is too extreme. Secondly, there are five points to refute the view that the realm other than Dharmadhatu is the essence of dedicating the realm: First, state the former view; second, examine it in three extremes; first, refute it by analyzing; second, refute it by contradicting the commitment; third, in this way, the view is established. Fourth, therefore, there are two reasons for placing the essence in non-elaboration: the direct reason and the scriptural authority as proof. There are three points here: citing the scriptural authority of Nagarjuna, the scriptural authority of Maitreya, and the scriptural source of the Eight Thousand Verses. Fifth, there are two points to show that the essence other than non-elaboration is taught as provisional meaning: establishing it as provisional meaning through the three dharmas, and citing scriptural authority as proof. Summarizing the points, there are two points to show the key to the cause and effect: showing the key to the general cause and effect, and showing the key to the cause and effect of the Hinayana and Mahayana. There are two points here: briefly explaining and explaining in detail. Second, there are two points to refute the mixed white and black results: stating the view and refuting it. There are three points here: proving that the mixed white and black are provisional meanings, pointing out the harm of being definitive, and combining scriptural authority with reasoning. The second point has two points: listing three faults, and explaining the latter in detail. There are also four points here: identifying the basis of manifestation, identifying its manifestation, how to manifest, and applying it to the current meaning. Third, there are two points to refute the practice of completely denying or completely affirming: stating the view and refuting it. There are three points here: showing that cessation and action are different, eliminating the harm to it, and how to prove the correct cessation and action. The first point has three points: briefly explaining through commitment, explaining in detail through reasoning, and summarizing the points through examples. The second point has four points: the Shravakas mutually explain that cessation and action are different, the lay people and the ordained explain that cessation and action are different, the Hinayana and Mahayana explain that cessation and action are different, and the Mahayana mutually explain that cessation and action are different. The first point has three points: directly stating the difference, refuting the accusation against it, and pointing out the harm to the oneness. The second point has two points: refuting the claim that there is a distinction between true and false in the eighteen schools, if one knows the precepts
