O! Then, meditating on allowing the afflictions of all sentient beings to ripen upon myself, thereby freeing sentient beings from their afflictions along with their habitual tendencies, and attaining perfect and complete enlightenment, is the bodhisattva's vow. Then, visualize oneself as the yidam deity, visualize the lama on the crown of the head or in the heart, and generate devotion. Remember the wisdom of the completion stage, and visualize one's own body, speech, and mind as the dharmakaya and rupakaya of the Buddha, which is the vidyadhara's mantra vow. Then, dedicate the roots of virtue to attain Buddhahood, cultivate compassion for sentient beings who have not realized it, and conduct activities from the state of all phenomena being like a dream, these three vows quickly ripen. The meaning of what was said, applied to the stages of practice, is that when a defilement such as desire arises in the mind, abandoning it by reasoning that oneself is a monk, etc., is the practice of individual liberation. On top of that, taking all of others' desire, along with its results, upon oneself, and meditating on making those sentient beings happy with one's own happiness and virtue, is the practice of the bodhisattva's vow. Then, visualizing the lama on the crown of the head or in the heart, and making strong prostrations with reverence. Visualizing the clear nature of desire as Amitabha, and placing the mind evenly in the state of bliss and emptiness, is the practice of the mantra vow. Similarly, other defilements should also be applied accordingly. These are the ways to practice individual liberation in a threefold manner. The way to practice the bodhisattva's vow in a threefold manner is that when giving to others, also abandoning impure giving that becomes a cause of harm to others, such as alcohol, poison, and weapons, is the practice of individual liberation. After gathering retinues through giving, establishing them in temporary and ultimate benefit and happiness by teaching the Dharma, and at that time also holding them with the wisdom of not fixating on the three spheres, is the practice of the bodhisattva's vow. Blessing everything as deities and wisdom, and then enjoying it, is the practice of the mantra vow. Similarly, all of the paramita practices should also be practiced in a threefold manner. The way to practice the mantra vow in a threefold manner is that even in a single sadhana

All preliminaries are also the practice of the three vows. The main practice is also the practice of the three vows, and the manner in which all the deities' bodies and hand implements also become the practice of the three vows should be understood by relying on the holy lama and studying the stainless tantras. Here, I have not written about how to combine them in detail, as this is not the time to elaborate. However, the means of knowing that this is the case is that in some of the secret instructions of the Guhyasamaja, it is explained that each of the five stages of the path should be practiced with five stages. And in some of the instructions of Chakrasamvara of Jetsun Naropa, it is explained that the general method of practice should be combined with the practice of the three bodies, and that each of them should be combined with the practice of the three bodies. And as in the instructions of Yoga Lord, it is explained that each of the four empowerments should be practiced with four empowerments, so here it is said that in order to abandon each affliction, the practice of the three vows should be combined, so it can be understood. In short, just as in the treatises on the perfections, when one practices hearing and contemplation, each perfection is practiced with six perfections, so a person with three qualities should practice each of the three vows with three vows. One should expand the eye of wisdom on the stainless words of the Buddha and the treatises, and then accomplish immeasurable benefit and happiness for oneself and others through each action of the three doors. The ocean of Vinaya, which is full of good words, is filled with the jewels of the Sutras, and the Abhidharma is like a golden mountain. In the center of it, the mountain of inner and outer scriptures is made of the jewels of the Tantras. He who waves the banner of Sakyapa, the lord of the gods, the teacher of the gods, who has the brilliance of a thousand eyes of wisdom blazing with the food of the nectar of the two stages. Carrying the supreme vajra of reasoning for accomplishment and refutation, he drove the armies of heretics and demons of the snowy mountains to the other shore of the ocean of the teachings, and in the midst of the assembly of the wise and near ones. By beating the great drum of the Dharma of the three vows, he awakens the sleep of ignorance of the assembly of fortunate disciples, the sons of the gods, and establishes them in the glory of joy and happiness, pacifying the fire of desire, the three poisons. From his vast teachings, like the path of the gods, this light of good words shines in all directions. I...
