Drawn by the seven horses of wisdom, May the teachings of the Able One be illuminated throughout the four continents. Just as the masters of the three realms intend, May the single path of the conquerors of the three times, The practice of the three vows, be clearly explained as they are, And may the virtue of the three doors be dedicated to great enlightenment. May I, from now on, in all lifetimes, Always listen to the pleasing and excellent teachings of Kunga, And by honoring the banner of faith in the Rare and Supreme, May I have the power to increase the Buddha's teachings. Even if all beings speak unpleasant words, And their bodies strike and beat me all at once, May I not generate a moment of harmful thoughts, But especially cultivate joy towards them. For the sake of accomplishing benefit and happiness for beings who have been my mothers, Generating the supreme mind of unsurpassed enlightenment, May all the suffering of beings ripen upon me, And may all beings be happy with my happiness and virtue. Having filled the four mandalas with the waters of the four empowerments, May everything that appears arise as the form of deities and bliss. By increasing through conduct and connecting with the proximate cause, May I realize the state of Vajradhara. At all times, may I practice the sacred Dharma, Abandoning obstacles and fulfilling all favorable conditions, May I have the power to increase the teachings of the wise and powerful Lord Sakyapa in the ten directions. This was composed by the Shakya monk Sonam Senge, who, inseparable from the victorious Lord Vajradhara, before the venerable Kunga Zangpo, and relying on the dust of the feet of many wise and accomplished beings such as the victorious Muspa Chenpo, the master of the three realms, and the Dharma King Kunkhyen Sangye Pel, has turned his mind slightly towards the meaning of the three baskets and the four tantras, and especially has gained an unassailable confidence in this tradition, in the garden of Dzongkar in Sikkim in the early spring month of the Iron Female Snake year (1953). May whatever root of virtue is obtained from this accomplishment, Cause all living beings to obtain the wisdom of the Sugata. May the single medicine for the suffering of beings, The source of all happiness, The teachings, together with gain and respect, Remain for a long time. Good! Good! Good! The General Meaning of the Excellent Differentiation of the Three Vows, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel.
