Showing the summarized meaning: The meaning that is needed must be understood from the summarized meaning. The Prajna that is shown during the praise must be understood from the eight Abhisamayas that are shown from the chapter of the body. As it is said in the Twenty Thousand Verses, "What is Prajnaparamita? If it is said that this is to be said, then it is said that it is Prajnaparamita." Therefore, the detailed explanation of the branches shows the meaning of the words: The summarized meaning must be understood from the meaning of the words. The seventy meanings of the eight topics that are shown from the chapter of the body must be understood sequentially from the detailed explanation of the branches. As it is said in the commentary, Don Ming, "The verses of the summarized meaning are by the author of the treatise himself. The mind of enlightenment is for the sake of others, etc. All the treatises that will be explained will explain." Therefore, the connection is shown by "the combination of its nature," etc. The meaning of the connection is to show that the order of the previous and the following is not contradictory. This treatise shows the proof that the order of the eight Abhisamayas is not contradictory. If it is thought that the order of the six is not mentioned, then the order of the three wisdoms, the order of showing the base wisdom first, is the summary of the meaning of the three wisdoms, and it can be understood from the treatise of the fourth chapter, and the order of showing the all-knowing wisdom first can also be understood from the connection of the all-knowing wisdom itself. The reason for showing the nature first here is, as it is said in the Twenty Thousand Verses, "The three all-knowing wisdoms that are shown first are the Prajnaparamita of the nature." Because the three wisdoms are represented by the Dharma that can represent them, and are determined by hearing and thinking, they are shown first. Fundamentally, it is said to be the nature from the perspective of the accomplishment of the action, and in the commentary, the nature and the meaning are the same. If it is thought that the other Abhisamayas should also be represented by their own representatives, then there is no fault because they are established from the perspective of the basis of the difference, the three wisdoms. Fortunate ones, hold a feast! The debate and answer are shown by "the object is the three causes," etc.

The meaning of refutation is said to be to show that the previous and subsequent reasons do not contradict each other. This treatise is to show that the reasoning explained in the eight topics of realization (mngon par rtogs pa brgyad) and the reasoning explained in the six topics do not contradict each other. These eight topics, if summarized, can be summarized into the three: object, practice, and result. In the case of the eight topics, the object is divided into three categories and explained; in the case of the six topics, the object is only summarized into one category, so it is explained that the two do not contradict each other. Although the meaning of the reason is not in the direct explanation of the sutra, it must be established as the hidden meaning combined by the author of the treatise himself, which can be understood in the Ratnagotravibhāga. Second, the consistency of the order is that if you do so, you should explain the meaning of the necessary summary, including the meaning of the words, including the connection, including the refutation and questions and answers. As Vasubandhu (dbyig gnyen) himself said, this order can be found in the Abhisamayalankara, and there is no other way. Fifth, how the commentary treatises came about: Initially, the noble Asanga ('phags pa thogs med) relied on directly hearing the sutras and treatises from Maitreya (ma pham pa), and thus made a clear understanding of it. After that, Master Vasubandhu, relying on the tenets of the Mind-Only school, wrote the Commentary on the Twenty Thousand Verses (nyi khri gzhung 'grel), but it was not translated into Tibetan. Some people think that Vasubandhu's Destruction of the Three Mothers (yum gsum gnod 'joms) is the Commentary on the Twenty Thousand Verses. The great translator said that some panditas told me that there was a commentary, but when I looked at it, it became the Commentary on the Hundred Thousand Verses, and they said that it was the Commentary on the Hundred Thousand Verses, and said that it was the commentary. After that, the noble Vimuktisena ('phags pa grol sde) combined the tenets of the Madhyamaka school and wrote the Light on the Twenty Thousand Verses (nyi khri snang ba). After that, the monk Vimuktisena (btsun pa grol sde) wrote the Explanation of the Twenty Thousand Verses (nyi khri rnam 'grel) combined with the Twenty Thousand Verses. After that, the master relied on the Light on the Twenty Thousand Verses, and initially thought it was the Ornament of the Twenty Thousand Verses, so he wrote the Eight Chapters combined with the Twenty Thousand Verses. After that, thinking it was the Ornament of the Eight Thousand Verses, he wrote the Great Commentary on the Eight Thousand Verses. After that, thinking it was the Ornament of the Three Mothers, he only combined the scriptural sources of the Three Mothers, and briefly explained his own views, and wrote the Small Commentary Meaningful (grel chung don gsal). The order in which these three works were written is explained differently by the panditas.
