In the explanation of the two kinds of conceptualization of mindfulness, here, all the conceptualizations mentioned in the scriptures, such as the four kinds of conceptualization of grasper and grasped, are included in the unreal pervasive conceptualization, because they are minds and mental factors with the appearance of the three realms, appearing as grasper and grasped due to the power of habit. Its basis is all the consciousness in the continuum of ordinary beings, the subsequent consciousness in the continuum of Hinayana learners and non-learners, and the subsequent consciousness of Mahayana learners. They are divided into three types: conceptualization that merely appears as grasper and grasped, conceptualization with the aspect of a coarse mind, and conceptualization that mixes sound and meaning. The first is merely the appearance of grasper and grasped without clinging to reality, which is all the non-conceptual consciousness in the continuum of ordinary beings, and all the subsequent consciousness of Mahayana learners and Hinayana learners and non-learners. The second is the mental factor with the aspect of coarsely searching for objects, as stated in the Compendium of Abhidharma: "What is conceptualization? It is the mental expression of mind that seeks everywhere based on the obscuration of knowledge of the mind, and it is the aspect of a coarse mind." The third is the wisdom that clings to reality based on names, as stated in the Commentary on Valid Cognition: "Whatever consciousness grasps sound and meaning, that is conceptualization." Among these three, the first is not the main object to be abandoned on the Bodhisattva path, because merely appearing as two graspers without clinging to reality does not cause faults, so there is no need to deliberately strive to abandon it; and as long as the habit of the appearance of two graspers is not abandoned, it will naturally arise, so it cannot be abandoned; and when it is abandoned, it will naturally disappear, so there is no need to abandon it separately; and because it includes the three of rejoicing, dedication, and mindfulness. The second is also not, because Vasubandhu said that real conceptualization is also the aspect of a coarse mind. Therefore, the main conceptualization to be abandoned on the Bodhisattva path should be established as the third conceptualization, which is the wisdom of clinging to reality, which includes the wisdom of clinging to the self of a person, the wisdom of clinging to the self of phenomena, and the wisdom of clinging to the non-existence of both selves.

There are three types of conceptual minds with attachment: the first is the main thing to be abandoned on the path of Hearers and Solitary Realizers; the second is the main thing to be abandoned on the path of Bodhisattvas; and the third is not to be abandoned. If it is the third type of conceptual mind, then it does not necessarily follow that it is the main thing to be abandoned on the Bodhisattva path, because the meditative wisdom of the Bodhisattva's path of joining and the manifest afflictions are also the third type of conceptual mind. If it is the main thing to be abandoned on the Bodhisattva path, then it does not necessarily follow that it is the third type of conceptual mind, because the seed of the obscuration of knowledge is also the main thing to be abandoned. Therefore, if it is a conceptual mind that has become the main thing to be abandoned on the Bodhisattva path, then it is pervaded by the attachment of grasping sound and meaning as mixed, because if it is that, then it is pervaded by a mind with manifest attachment. The third has five aspects: nature, division, the meaning of each distinction, definite number, and the way of possessing. First, examine whether it is an affirmative or negative conceptual mind, examine which of nature and what is to be abandoned it possesses, and the three of determining its own nature. First, refute the assertion that it is only a negative conceptual mind, refute the assertion that there are both negative and affirmative conceptual minds, and the three of one's own system. First, the opponent says, if the conceptual mind shown here, then it is pervaded by being a negative conceptual mind, because the Buddha's wisdom feet (Buddha's wisdom) said it is a negative conceptual mind, and if it is an affirmative conceptual mind, then it should not be a characteristic of the Great Vehicle's path of joining. If so, then the meditative wisdom of the Great Vehicle's path of joining and the conceptual mind shown here are not actually contradictory in their manner of grasping, because both of those manners of grasping are of the nature of negation. If you accept, then those two do not become what is to be abandoned and its antidote, because you accept that. It is pervasive, because both are consciousnesses with a manner of grasping. To this, the opponent says, the wisdom of the extreme of existence and the stains of bad rebirths do not become what is to be abandoned and its antidote, because those two manners of grasping are not contradictory. If you say that pervasion is established, then if the inference that sound is impermanent and the imputation of grasping sound as permanent do not have contradictory manners of grasping, then those two do not become harm and what is harmed, it is not pervasive. If cold touch and hot touch do not have contradictory manners of grasping, then those two do not become harm and what is harmed, because it is not pervasive. The pervasion is accepted. Furthermore, the characteristic of the aspect of the Great Vehicle's path of joining and the characteristic of conceptual mind
