The Sutras, etc., which show the six perfections as the expresser, are collected, and those expressers also collect the expressed six perfections. The determination by reason is that each perfection also becomes the reason for entering the other five. These are extremely brief and clear explanations of the meaning of the Ornament of the Sutras, so if you want to see it in detail, please refer to it. Dhyana, formless, generosity, etc., in these chapters, regarding the definition of entering practice, there are two views of refutation and establishment. In the first view, some say: the yoga of a Bodhisattva with the effort of application as the main focus, which enters the six perfections; also, the activity of a Bodhisattva above the heat stage, with the effort of application as the main focus; and, the wisdom of a Bodhisattva with the effort of application as the main focus, which is grasped by the wisdom arising from meditation on emptiness, and applies to various phenomena of cause and effect of the Mahayana; and, the practice with four special accomplishments, which is the practice with the effort of application as the main focus; and, what is the practice with the effort of application as the main focus? That is, the activity of a Bodhisattva aroused by the effort of application above the heat stage. In the first view, if the place of entry of entering practice is that, then it must be the second of the nine places, because that is its definition. In the second view, the yoga of a Bodhisattva with the effort of intention as the main focus, is like that, because that is the signified, because it is the application of the Mahayana. It cannot be accepted, because it is with the effort of intention as the main focus. The third and fourth views are also refuted by this. In the fifth view, the effort of application of the Mahayana path of application, which has just obtained the heat stage, is like that, because that is the signified. If you accept, then there should be a Bodhisattva wisdom above the heat stage before you, because you accept. It cannot be accepted, because it is the nature of the Dharma. The second view is: the yoga of a Bodhisattva above the heat stage, which is the Mahayana path of application that enters any of the cause and effect Mahayana by means of practice. If classified, there are nine types such as the practice of entering dhyana and the formless. Loving-kindness and generosity, etc., in these chapters, is the definition of accumulating practice.

There are two aspects to the debate and establishment regarding this. The first aspect is: Some say that Bodhisattva Yoga refers to the practice of a Bodhisattva that actually produces either the ultimate or temporary Bodhi as its result. Others say that the activity of a Bodhisattva refers to the activity of a Bodhisattva from the second moment onwards of the supreme Dharma, which actually produces either the temporary Bodhi as its result or the ultimate Bodhi as its result. Still others say that a practice possessing four special accomplishments is what actually produces Bodhi as its result. Regarding the first view, the accumulation practice should be the subject of the proposition because it is the object being defined. It cannot be asserted because it neither actually produces the temporary Bodhi as its result nor does it actually produce the ultimate Bodhi as its result. The first point should be the subject of the proposition because it is the wisdom of the extreme of existence. If the second point is not established, then the Mahayana path of learning should be the subject of the proposition because it is not established. If it is accepted, then it should be the accumulation practice because it possesses that definition. The reason is accepted. The second point is also refuted by this. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva's path of application that precedes the realization of a Hearer Arhat should be the subject of the proposition because it possesses that definition. The pervasive relationship is accepted because it actually produces the temporary Bodhi as its result and is the activity of a Bodhisattva from the last moment of the supreme Dharma onwards. If the first point is not established, then it is accepted because, on the side of that definition, there is a distinction made by saying 'from the last moment of the supreme Dharma onwards.' Regarding the third point, there is no accumulation practice in the stage of the Bodhisattva's path of application because there is no Bodhi at that time. The pervasive relationship is accepted. If it is not established, then it should be the subject of the proposition because there are no three bodies at that time. Some say that the Bodhisattva Yoga that becomes the actual cause of the non-conceptual wisdom as its result is its definition. Then, the first moment of the three moments of the path of cultivation of aspiration arising continuously should possess that definition because it is the object being defined, because it is the Mahayana path of cultivation. If it is accepted, then that second moment should be non-conceptual wisdom because it is accepted. It cannot be asserted because it is the subsequent wisdom of a learner. Some say that the Bodhisattva Yoga that actually generates the Mahayana noble path as its result is its definition. Then, one's own second moment
