If, like some theorists, one believes that when transformation occurs, a certain part of it will not perish, this is ignorance, because it can be observed and cannot be observed. If one searches for the aggregates in five ways, then the self does not exist. If one part of it perishes and one part does not perish, then there will be the fault of one part becoming a god and one part becoming a human. In the second case, if, like some theorists, one believes that a part of the aggregates that should be accepted will perish, and a part will not perish, this is also ignorance, because it can be observed and cannot be observed. Moreover, there is the fault that one part will become the aggregates of a god and one part will become the aggregates of a human. Third, refuting neither of the two: it is not established that the world is neither finite nor infinite. If both the finite and the infinite world are established, then by separately negating the two, it will become neither finite nor infinite, which depends on your intention. Because the nature of what is to be refuted is not established, the negation of it is also not established in nature. Second, briefly showing the reasoning: In the Commentary on the Clear Words, it says, "In that way, first acknowledging that the taker and the taken are conventional, having the appearance of an image, it is shown that it is impossible to cling to permanence, etc. Now, since the nature of things cannot be determined in any way, just like the blue and white of a barren woman's son, it is considered impossible to cling to permanence, etc." The meaning of what was said above is: Above, the conventional basis was acknowledged, thereby refuting the view of clinging to permanence, etc. as characteristics. Or, since in ultimate truth, the basis itself is not established, then where, in which person, and from what cause will the view of clinging to permanence, etc. as characteristics arise? It will not arise, because all things are empty in nature. Second, combining with the scriptures: In the Sālu Tree King Sutra, it says: If someone observes dependent arising with correct wisdom, as it truly is, then it is constant, continuous, inanimate, as it is in itself, not inverted, unborn, unarisen, uncreated, uncompounded, unobstructed, unhindered, and peaceful.
