I imagine wanting to abandon it. Mahayana practitioners believe that the impermanent entering consciousness is in accordance with the stable and constant existence, which is the key argument. So it is said. In the commentary, it is said that the unmixed support is like the unmixed Dharma of the Buddha. Therefore, the sentient being's continuum, the subject of the law. It should not be logically concluded that there is no such unmixed ignorance, because there is no afflicted mind. Because if there is no support, there is no dependence. And it will not arise in the cycle of entering consciousness, because it is cut off, and this is constantly arising. If the Hinayana school believes that whatever is to be abandoned must have an antidote, then the five gates have no antidote, because they are looking outward. It is also not possible for consciousness, because it is not temporarily afflicted, which is not allowed, because if it is in accordance with it, then it itself is not allowed. It is also not possible for the afflicted, because if it is in accordance with afflictions other than it, then it will become a mixed correspondence, and you think that the correspondence is unmixed. If it is said that the unmixed itself is caused by the afflicted, then consciousness will always become afflicted, because it is in accordance with things that constantly arise. Therefore, the support of unmixed ignorance, the afflicted mind, is established. Second, consciousness is not the same as the support of the five sense consciousnesses and the co-emergent condition, because its co-emergent place has no afflicted mind, nor anything else. It is not established, because if it is said that the mind exists immediately after the six have ceased, that is not the case. That is because it is simultaneous with consciousness, so it is not the co-emergent place of consciousness. Because in the entering consciousness, the support of the six is past, and the others are present, such a difference is not allowed. The Alaya consciousness is also not, because it is the causal condition, and the support is considered to be the co-emergent condition. The sthavira says that the holes in the heart are from one to nine, which is also unreasonable, because if there is no form, there is no consciousness. And all feelings are bodily feelings, and directly depend on the sense organs with form, so consciousness cannot be the conceptual thought that holds the meaning of sounds. It itself cannot be the mind, because monks, the mind is the inner source of birth, not having form.

Because it contradicts the teaching of "unobstructed without a seat." The Vaibhashika school believes that the root consciousness and the aggregates that exist as long as samsara exists are the basis of mind consciousness, which is also unreasonable. Because, like the Alaya consciousness, it is the common cause and condition of all six consciousnesses. Third, without it, there would be no difference between peace and non-peace in cessation and unconscious absorption. Because it is the same only in that it prevents the six aggregates. If there is a difference between the ground and attention, then there is no difference in essence. Because if there is no afflicted mind, there is no ego-grasping in cessation, so it is peaceful; while others are not peaceful because they have ego-grasping. Fourth, because one always clings to the self, the word "mind" has no meaning. Because the five sense consciousnesses and the Alaya consciousness do not cling to the self, and the mind consciousness does not always cling. This cannot be thought of, because the meaning of the word has been correctly acknowledged. Fifth, the cause of arising without consciousness has no basis, so there will be no ego-grasping. If so, then it will not be abandoned because it is a place of non-leisure for the noble ones. If it is abandoned because it is separated from entering consciousness, then cessation will also be abandoned. Sixth, without it, ego-grasping based on a virtuous state would disappear. Because the goodness of mind consciousness itself cannot be the basis of ignorance, the place of ego-grasping. If so, then it will become unpolluted goodness, because it is goodness that is not bound by ego-grasping. Therefore, because ego-grasping always arises, its basis, afflicted mind, is established. Here, Dromtönpa said, "Ego-grasping manifests, and it seems to be absent in deep sleep, but is it established because there is no clear object?" He said that it seems to be a kind of thinking that needs to be thought about very much. Second, the conventional mind, in the Compendium of Topics, says: "Any consciousness that is immediately after the cessation of the six consciousnesses." The Treasury of Knowledge says: "Any consciousness that is immediately after the cessation of the six is the mind." Because the sixth consciousness is the basis of the later mind consciousness, it is the mind. In the Compendium of Vehicles, it says: "Because it acts as an immediate condition, it becomes a place. Therefore, the mind after the cessation of consciousness is the place where consciousness arises." So, is it only the past that becomes the mind? No, the past is a thing.
