Now, merely indicating it as a sign of existence does not establish the self-character of the external object, because the self-character of the external object cannot arise if it does not exist simultaneously with it. Therefore, as expressive words, it can be established as showing the intention of the speaker's continuum, because such establishment possesses the three conditions of establishment. The second part is divided into two points: rectifying the words of scripture suspected of contradiction; explaining the meaning of the scripture to establish non-contradiction. The first point is: if the expressive word is not a valid cognition for the external object, then the Sutra on Valid Cognition says: "Trustworthy words are non-deceptive, inferring from the general." If it contradicts what is said in the sutra as inference, then it is not said to be the nature of inference. However, when realized beings enter and exit the extremely hidden, they cannot enter and exit by the valid cognition of the power of things, so they must rely solely on scripture. Among the scriptures, this kind is a valid cognition, and it is said in the case of being completely determined as a valid cognition. The second part is divided into three points: explaining the definition of trustworthy words; explaining the meaning of the opposite of non-deception; explaining the way of inferring from the general. The first point is: the trustworthy words mentioned in the sutra are not merely in terms of scripture, but rather, when showing the place of acceptance and rejection, the preceding and following sentences are coherent, and it is not that it cannot accomplish the necessary, but rather it shows the means that is in accordance with accomplishing the necessary, and it is not useless, but rather it states the necessary meaning that is closely needed for people, that is, after fully determining whether it possesses these three qualities, it is said in this regard, not in terms of anything other than these three qualities. The second point is: the manifest of what is seen and the hidden of the meaning of unseen things, as dharma, when you show these, neither direct perception nor the inference of the power of things harms them, this is the meaning of non-deception in the phrase "trustworthy words are non-deceptive," because it is necessary to establish that the scripture is non-deceptive in the extremely hidden by taking the fact that the two valid cognitions do not harm you when you show them as a sign. Here, some people think that the unseen is hid

Dividing the hidden and the extremely hidden into two categories, thereby compensating for the inadequacies of one's own words; dividing other visible things into two categories, direct perception and hidden, and for invisible things, it is considered that relying on scriptural inference has no faults, this statement does not grasp the main point, that is, it must be clearly defined that there are two types of valid cognition as obstacles. And the statements "from the general" and "this non-deception" are because they have not played a role. Using the sign of non-deception for the three objects of measurement to prove non-deception for the extremely hidden is because the proof and the proven are the same. Third, the treatise of the teacher does not say that trustworthy words themselves are inference, but that trustworthy words with three characteristics, which are not deceptive for direct perception and hidden, rely on the general characteristics determined by the valid cognition of the power of reality, thereby relying on the scriptures, the wisdom that realizes the extremely hidden is the subject. Even if its object is extremely hidden, it is said to be inference. Because for the continuum of the seer, the valid cognition that realizes the extremely hidden, for the continuum of the seer, the valid cognition of the power of reality has no opportunity to enter the extremely hidden. So, what is the reason why inference can be made from the general? Trustworthy words are the subject. It is possible to infer other extremely hidden things, because for the main meaning of the hidden, the Four Noble Truths are not deceptive. Because what you should take is the Truth of Cessation, and what you should abandon is the Truth of Suffering, and the Truth of the Origin of the path of means, as it is said, is completely determined by the valid cognition of the power of reality. The former is explained as a category of the former through the connection of "also here", and taking complete determination as the cause, connecting the words "said", for the extremely subtle meaning, wisdom is rough, that is, the former determines the characteristics of inference, and the latter shows the way of inference from the general. If it is necessary to completely determine the Four Noble Truths as the cause of showing the Four Noble Truths, then it contradicts the view that there is no definite understanding in the Buddha-ground. Second, it is divided into two: stating the assertion, explaining the refutation. First, possessing the qualities of seeing things as they are, and having exhausted faults.
