If it is said that the king's divination can determine the meaning, and that it can show the meaning to others, then, the king's divination is the subject, you have already spoken the definite meaning of the Vedas, because whoever borrows the Vedas to speak the definite meaning of the Vedas, for those meanings, whether you have said it yourself, please examine it, because they are the same. For example, some sophists say, "The road is this," and say, "This wooden stake will speak." And another person does not borrow the wooden stake, but says himself, "The road is this," these two people speak with their own language, there is no difference, just like this. Second, about the sound of the Vedas, is the subject, the nature becomes a manifestation of one meaning, as the expresser is certain, where does this come from? Because it is not like this, because it can be applied to all meanings. Furthermore, about the sound of the Vedas, is the subject, except for determining the expresser of each meaning through the desire to express, what valid cognition can know the relationship between the expressed meaning and the nature? Because it is not known, because the relationship between the expressed meaning and the nature is beyond the senses, it is not the object of valid cognition. About that sound of the Vedas, is the subject, it is determined as the expresser of only one expressed meaning, where does this come from? Because it is not man-made. Universally speaking, the desire to express is the reason why sounds are determined as the expressers of each meaning, and convention is the manifestation of the desire to express, if the convention is not man-made, then it does not exist, because it is not there. Fourth, about the sound of the Vedas, is the subject, even through the desire to express, it cannot be applied to other expressed meanings, because the nature has determined that it is only the expresser of one expressed meaning. Furthermore, about that sound, is the subject, understanding the meaning from you, the convention will also become meaningless, because of the previous reason. If it is said that the relationship of nature is manifested through convention, so the convention will not become meaningless, then, about the convention, is the subject, from you, the difference between the sound meaning nature relationship is determined through manifestation, then, where does the certainty of applying it to that meaning come from? Because it is not like this, because it is only an arbitrary application. About the convention, is the subject, the sound nature can be applied, only through this, it will not manifest the desired meaning, because for that nature

Because there is a certainty that can combine the definite meaning of what one wants to express, and if there is not, it is because, because whatever is desired, it is entered by the Svātantrika-prasanga. These two verses are transitional verses. Second, refuting the establishment by the sign of not deceiving in one part, divided into two parts: stating what is desired, and explaining the refutation. First, in the scriptures, it is said that other Vedic sounds besides "fire can dispel cold" are also the subject, are true meanings, because they are part of the Vedas. For example, just as the statement "fire can dispel cold" is true, some other older debaters say so. The second part is divided into three points: revealing that the establishment is remaining; revealing that it is harmful to the thing to be established itself; refuting through extremely absurd ways. First, a part of the Vedas is the subject, the elephant of the direction of understanding reason has refuted your correct reason like this, because it is a delusion combined with the doubt remaining in the pervasion. For example, just like in order to establish that the remaining fruits have the same taste as the eaten ones, it is said that it is because the eaten ones and the essence of the shape are the same, and also for being cooked in the same container, it is also the same as establishing that the remaining fruits have ripened from that sign. Second, the debater is the subject, just like a prostitute defeats the master with lies, because the obstacles to entering the treatise, which contradict the three valid cognitions, have not been completely eliminated, and the branches of entering, such as the meaning connection of the treatise, etc., the three dharmas, have not been revealed either, and it is admitted that the Vedic treatise, with the sign of not deceiving in one part, everything is a true meaning. If asked how it contradicts the three valid cognitions, and what is it that has not been eliminated? The Vedas are the subject, stating the meaning that contradicts the three valid cognitions, that is, the person is the permanent agent, and things like sound are permanent, and the general, which is beyond the scope of the senses, is taken by the senses, and things are produced by dissimilar causes, by permanent causes, and existence is dissimilar, existing by other dependencies, and destruction is dissimilar, destroyed by other causes that arose later from their own causes, and also, wisdom is hidden,
