May I quickly attain! This was initiated from the great seat of Tsurphu by the glorious Mipham Chokyi Wangchuk of the ten directions, as a recompense for the encouragement of a few faithful and intelligent individuals such as the incarnate Karma Drakpa Namgyal Palsangpo, a reincarnation of the glorious Padma Gyalpo of Riwo Che (mountain name), who is endowed with the virtues of scripture and realization, has previous practice, and has a lineage of rebirths. At Drigung Tashi Tshal (monastery name), meditation sessions and comparisons were made for examination. May auspicious glory blaze forth, may the practice lineage teachings flourish, pervade the sky, and may all beings enjoy the splendor of happiness and well-being. This is the eighty-eighth Dharma session. There are forty-five meditation points. In subsequent sections as well, one should meditate on the corresponding meditation points according to the circumstances, but there is a reason for how to meditate. These meditation points should be taken as practice, and the Dharma sessions should be understood as listening. The protector of this Dharma, the glorious Yeshe Gonpo Bernakcan, together with his consort and retinue, protects it. Those who lack faith and merit, and those who rely solely on the words, understanding them literally, and deceive themselves and others with the false gurus of worldly Dharma, if they see or propagate this Dharma, will receive severe punishment. Those who practice it truthfully and have faith, merely by looking at it, will have all their realizations and experiences increase. May it become a companion for attaining Vajradhara in one lifetime and one body, and grant siddhis. In other instructions, apart from the meditation sessions and supporting teachings, there are no detailed questions and introductions, but rather oral instructions and separate records. Here, all of these are clearly gathered together, so that even those of low intelligence can see them, but they should not be viewed casually. One must receive transmission from the lama and then practice sincerely from the depths of one's heart. If one practices according to the method and order of practice in this teaching manual, one will definitely attain accomplishment, and realization and experience will surely arise. Furthermore, if, because of the new teaching manual, it does not arise in the mind-stream, and one relies solely on the words of this Dharma, thinking that it has already arisen in the mind-stream, or that merely having a dry understanding is sufficient, then it will become a false guru of worldly Dharma, and one will be deceiving oneself, so one should avoid doing so. The Dharma protector, the Dharma King Bernakcan, protects this Dharma, does not uphold his own lineage, and is without vows.

If you meet or communicate with those who hold wrong views or are not suitable vessels, it will break the vows. Please protect those who are interested in this Dharma, are suitable vessels, have great devotion, and diligently practice. Please pacify the obstacles to practicing the Dharma and be a companion in attaining both common and supreme accomplishments in this very life. Om Svasti! All dharmas are inherently beyond cause and condition. In the reality of self-nature, which is completely pure, although there are no signs of delusion or liberation, in suchness, as soon as something arises, just in that very nature, a slight attachment leads to delusion through error, becoming the realm of ignorance and the six realms of samsara. What arises naturally is self-liberated. Without attachment, it is self-arisen wisdom. Liberation in one's own place is called the "Great Seal of the Ground." Recognizing the ground is known as the Great Seal. It is also called the "Primordial Buddha." Transcending the past and future of ordinary consciousness, opening the present awareness without arrogance, not obscured by meditation, not defiled by delusion, abiding without grasping is the state of clear emptiness. Like holding a Buddha in hand, the result is immediate. The distinctions of ground, path, and result, the divisions of levels and paths, self and other, pure and impure, are merely verbal designations. Unifying them is the true characteristic of the Kagyu lineage. The intention of the Buddhas of the three times is exactly that. The well-known "Great Seal of the Path of Liberation" pervades all inner traditions, but the instruction to unify them is called Kagyu. In particular, this characteristic of the meaning lineage, the garland of jewels of the Karma Kamtsang practice lineage, is beyond the scope of other conceptual fabrications. The blessing of the meaning lineage is a lamp for the fortunate. For the unfortunate, it is like a blind person seeing objects. What is the need to avoid each one enjoying their own share? No matter how the entrance to each philosophical system is explained, they are all distracted only within the boundaries of establishing the two truths. Conventional truth is merely a false truth in the face of conceptual thought, like the nature of a lotus in the uncreated sky. Ultimate truth is the self-nature reality, like the sky that is never born and never ceases. Not departing from suchness is the nature of reality itself. For the unawakened, the two truths appear separately. When awakened, they are inseparable from that. If there are other claims, it is a reversal. In terms of meaning, the self-nature is true, the infallible key is the manifestation of the power of the blessing of the oral instructions.
