It is called arising on the ground. The Great Seal is: all phenomena of the basis of samsara, such as aggregates, elements, and sense bases, are mistaken phenomena even in name, without foundation or root, so they are not seen as something to be abandoned. Nor are they regarded as something to be transformed. Then, how are conventional phenomena established as objects of perception, merely as dependent arising, in name? From the beginning, the innate, ordinary consciousness dwells as the essence of the four kayas, free from obscurations. By realizing this undeluded Suchness as Suchness, one becomes a Thus-Gone One. Because one manifestly and completely awakens without abandoning or transforming all the defilements of delusion. Therefore, there is no need to abandon a bad delusion, nor is there a need to accept or reject a good non-delusion. As it is said: "There is nothing here to be removed, Nor is there anything to be added. Look purely at purity, And seeing purity, you are liberated." So it is said. Karma Pakshi, the supreme Rangjung Dorje (the Third Karmapa, 1284-1339), said: "This ordinary consciousness is called the essence of the Victorious One of the Dharma Realm. It is not abandoned because it is excellent, nor is it abandoned by sentient beings because it is bad. Although it is expressed with many names, the meaning of that expression is not understood. In its unceasing play, there are sixty-four qualities. Roughly speaking, each one is said to be a billion times over." So it is said. Considering one aspect of this, that the innate, ordinary consciousness does not conceptualize any object or subject of knowledge in conventional reality, the Prasangika Madhyamaka of glorious Chandrakirti states: "Even in name, it is not possible to establish whether the Buddha has wisdom or not." The Great Bliss Sambhogakaya here is the bliss of union of the coemergent Heruka in the tantric texts, which is the bliss that does not accumulate or separate. King Indrabhuti said: "Great bliss is always constant." That is the meaning. Therefore, my lord, the great Repa, said: "The path of transformation is the generation stage of secret mantra, which is the way to accomplish the Dharmakaya Buddha. The path of knowing the basis is the completion stage of secret mantra, which is the way to accomplish the Dharmakaya Buddha. Even now, from the way of knowing the basis in the completion stage of secret mantra, the view of the precious Kagyu lineage is particularly excellent as the way to make the basis the path. The completion stages of secret mantra, etc.

The method to manifest the innate ordinary wisdom is to rely on the mudras of the three karmas, such as body, speech, and mind, which are related to the three higher empowerments. Here, there is no need for so many elaborate methods, but it can be manifested by the single method of devotion to the Lama. Therefore, one must be able to achieve pure devotion. The method of manifesting the ordinary wisdom of the secret mantra completion stage is to regard the empowerment of sharp faculties as the empowerment of dull faculties. The way this Kagyu lineage manifests ordinary wisdom is to regard it as the empowerment of sharp faculties. With this in mind, Gyalwa Godtsangpa, in the form of his last will and testament, from the Minor Nirvana, said, "The disciple Repupa asked, 'Where will the Dharma King Rinpoche go? What will be his name?' He replied, 'My realm is boundless, and my name will change in various ways, appearing for the benefit of beings. In this life, I have practiced the four preliminary practices and above, and I will appear in a pure retinue. In general, I will manifest greatly when touched greatly, and I will manifest small when touched small. There is no doubt that beings who see, hear, remember, and touch will be liberated. In general, those foolish beings who have no direct connection with me, if they have faith and devotion in this biography of mine, even if they have not seen my face or heard my voice, I will not remain after Nirvana. If you think that even if you pray, blessings and trust will not arise and you become doubtful, then there is no need to doubt. If you can pray to me, then I know all the supreme and common accomplishments. May future beings who follow me also pray to me. Do not say too many trivial things. I know myself to accomplish the benefit of myself and others,' he said. The disciple Wangchuk Gyaltsen asked, 'In all the biographies, are the names and deeds of the Dharma King and the Bodhisattva, and the names that ultimately manifest, all the same as before?' He replied, 'Those will also appear as before, and furthermore, they will become an immeasurable and inexhaustible great wheel of ornaments.' Again, he asked, 'Those who want to see and hear the qualities of those infinite realms and immeasurable forms, how should they enter the key of the method or path?'
