The method is: In debate, the pro and con sides should not deviate from the topic, and both sides of the debate should admit to having faults, and then enter the third stage of settling disputes. Now, the meaning of compliance should be understood: For what is not suitable for monks, and for the precepts that contradict compliance and suitability, it is equally necessary to prohibit, such as prohibiting wearing sleeved clothes, thereby prohibiting Anraka and others. For what is suitable and compliant, and for what is unsuitable and contradictory, it is necessary to accomplish, such as allowing actually needed utensils, and allowing the use of semi-lunar objects whose colors etc. do not belong to the unsuitable. The conclusion of all recitations is: "Venerable" etc., the meaning of the words is mostly easy to understand. "What comes from elsewhere" refers to the Dharma of Nirvana that comes from other Abhidhamma Pitakas, which is in accordance with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment; behavior etc. is in accordance with the Vinaya Pitaka; opinions are consistent in view and wisdom; rejoicing with excellent merits; there is no dispute in discipline, view, life and rituals; guarding the mind with the same goal; remembering good deeds without forgetting; with caution, making one's own and others' continuums capable of becoming the work of Bodhi, thereby practicing yoga. Now, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat of the past, observe the Uposatha of the Sangha, the method of taming is that in the era of that teacher, although the afflictions of the Shravakas were less, they should not cause suffering to the body and mind, but diligently practice the asceticism of the heretics (65a), hoping to obtain the fruit, in order to counteract this situation, it was declared: Patience is the supreme asceticism, patience is, Nirvana is the highest, the Buddha said so. Renunciation, if it harms others, and, harming others is not a Shramana. Thus it was declared. The Shravakas of the crest-wearers, although other afflictions are less, but there are more who pursue the fruit of gods and humans with good deeds, in order to counteract this situation, those with eyes, to sentient beings, for terrifying things as they really are, the wise in this world of life, should completely abandon sins. Thus it was declared. The Shravakas who protect all, although other afflictions are less, but they attach great importance to their own precepts, and are happy to slander heretics, therefore, one should not slander, one should not harm, and one should also guard the Pratimoksha precepts, and be moderate in food.

I shall be diligent. I shall dwell in a remote place. I shall properly cultivate the higher mind. This is the teaching of the Buddhas. Thus it is. The Hearers of the Degenerate Aeon have few afflictions, but are attached to the offerings of villages, as an antidote to that: Just as a bee does not harm the color and scent of a flower, But sips the nectar and flies away, So the Sage wanders in the village. Thus it is. The Hearers of the Golden Sage have few afflictions, (65b) but regard their own learning and discipline as supreme and disparage those of others, as an antidote to that: One should examine one's own lineage and non-lineage, Not the disagreements of others and what others have done and not done. Thus it is. The Hearers of Light-protector have few afflictions, but are attached to the taste of samadhi, as an antidote to that: One should be careful with the higher mind, One should learn the foundations of the Sage. Always in peace, with mindfulness, The protector is without sorrow. Giving greatly increases merit, Good restraint does not change enemies, etc. Possessing virtue, abandon evil, Exhausting afflictions, attain nirvana. Thus it is. The Hearers of our Teacher have many afflictions and commit various evils, but are content with a little virtue, and their minds are distracted by desire and cannot be calmed, as an antidote to that: Do not commit any evil, Practice all virtues, Subdue your own mind, This is the teaching of the Buddhas. Good is the discipline of the body, Good also is the discipline of speech, Good is the discipline of the mind, Discipline is good in all things. The Bhikshu who is disciplined in all things Is completely liberated from all suffering. Guarding speech and well-restraining the mind, Not (66a) doing non-virtues with the body, If one cultivates these three paths of action, One will attain the path spoken of by the sages. Thus it is. What is shown is that the Vinaya Pitaka of the seven Buddhas are the individual characteristics of their respective scriptural authorities: Vipashyin Buddha's crown protects all, Degenerate Aeon, Golden Sage, and Light-protector, Shakyamuni Gautama, god of gods, The untamed tamer, the unsurpassed, The protector of the world, the supreme savior, The seven heroic Buddhas.

O, auspicious! The Pratimoksha of those who are renowned, This has been extensively proclaimed. Now, regarding the fruit of Pratimoksha, To this, all Buddhas and whoever, Even Buddhas and Shravakas pay respect, By being respectful to this, May you attain the unconditioned state. Therefore, the exhortation to ordain: One should initiate and ordain, One should enter the Buddha's teachings. Like an elephant entering a reed house, One should destroy the army of the Lord of Death. The greatness of diligently practicing Pratimoksha: Those who are exceedingly mindful, Who will practice this Dharma-vinaya, Having completely abandoned the cycle of birth, Will bring suffering to an end. Having shown the ultimate fruit, the determination of the temporary Uposatha: The way of benefit (66b) Protecting the precepts, For the sake of increasing the teachings, By proclaiming this Pratimoksha, The Sangha performs the Uposatha. Why is the Sutra proclaimed, And why is the Uposatha performed? Those precepts should be guarded, Like the tip of a yak's tail. The dedication of the root of virtue at the end: Now is the dedication of the root of virtue at the end: The merit that is accomplished, From proclaiming the Pratimoksha, By this, may all beings in the world, Attain the state of the Mighty One. Thus, during the reign of the supreme powerful lord, the glorious Lha Tsanpo Relpachen, the Kashmiri Vaibhashika bhikshu Geshe Gyalwai Yeshe, and the revising bhikshu translator Chokro Lui Gyaltsen, translated, revised, and finalized it. Now, the verses that completely conclude: Here, the foolish wise one, seated on the throne of darkness, The speech of acceptance and rejection diminishes the pure side, Attachment and hatred are mixed, only seeking gain, May all of this diminish like the dust of dawn! Possessing renunciation and the wealth of antidotes, Unattached noble family, all subdued senses, Having trained the mind with hearing and diligence, compassionate, May they become companions on the path to enlightenment! Since all terms are empty of essence, To the ultimate meaning, the Bhagavan of the four bodies, (67b) Having found the means to be free from the reversal of cause and effect, May the state of deathlessness and permanence be attained! The virtuous actions that arise from effort here are completely pure.
