Only the term "Bodhisattva" (43b) can be used to designate, not the names of ordinary beings, etc. Because at that time he is a noble being, and there, the main factor as the establisher is that he has obtained the wisdom that directly realizes this very suchness. As the Bhagavan said: Bodhisattva is a superior term for a being who subsequently realizes, that is, by which all dharmas are subsequently realized and known. How does one know? That is, not like ordinary people think of the unborn, the not truly arisen, the inverted, and not like ordinary people obtain them. Therefore, it is called Bodhisattva. Why? Bodhi is non-conceptualization, Bodhi is non-fabrication, Bodhi is without object. Completely suppressed by great power. The Tathagata has not attained Bodhi, because he has not attained all dharmas, because he does not apprehend all dharmas, therefore it is called Bodhi. Such Bodhi is the Bodhi of the Buddha, not as it is said. Completely suppressed by great power. Those who generate the mind of Bodhi, and think that this mind should be generated towards Bodhi, and those who think that the Bodhi in which we should generate the mind exists, and who consider themselves enlightened to Bodhi, cannot be called Bodhisattvas, they are called clinging to birth. Why? Because they cling to birth, cling to mind, cling to Bodhi. Such as (44a) etc. Also, Bodhi is without characteristics, it is separated from the nature of characteristics. Whoever subsequently realizes in this way, that is Bodhi. Not as it is said. Completely suppressed by great power. Because of realizing these dharmas, it is called Bodhisattva. Completely suppressed by great power. If someone does not understand these dharmas, and does not subsequently realize them, but thinks of himself as a Bodhisattva, Bodhisattva, then he is far from the position of Bodhisattva, and he is far from the dharmas of Bodhisattva. Just like that, he

Thus, with the name of a Bodhisattva, one deceives the worlds of gods, humans, and asuras. Subduing completely with extreme force. If one becomes a Bodhisattva merely by words, then all sentient beings would also become Bodhisattvas. Subduing completely with extreme force. This is not merely an act of speech, but rather, it is the ground of a Bodhisattva. The meaning of the sutra that emerges in this way is that those who conceptualize in the three spheres, are manifestly attached to things, and possess arrogance, are not Bodhisattvas. However, this does not mean that the explanation of the term 'Bodhisattva who has become an ordinary being' is completely negated. This is because the conventional Bodhicitta of aspiration and engagement, and the Bodhicitta of faith and attention that is devoted to the ultimate truth of suchness, are also present in them. Even so, it should be understood (page 44b) that the mind and mental factors that have directly realized the two truths with non-conceptual wisdom and have eliminated the marks of superimposition on them are possessed only by the noble ones. A complete Bodhisattva whose explanation, engagement, and meaning of the term are in complete agreement is established only in those who have attained the bhumis. By the power of this meaning, the Ratnagotravibhāga states: 'Impure, impure, pure, and supremely pure, are the four stages in order. Sentient beings, Bodhisattvas, and Tathāgatas are spoken of in this way.' Also, the Sutra Ornament and the Compendium of Vehicles state: 'The true nature of children is obscured, and the untrue appears everywhere. When the Bodhisattva removes that, the true nature appears everywhere.' Thus, the term Bodhisattva is not specifically applied to ordinary beings. However, in the sutras and the Ornament of Clear Realization, one is established as a Bodhisattva by the wisdom of realizing the path. The path of joining is established as the cause of the wisdom of the path because it is the cause of attaining all three vehicles. Therefore, one who possesses the clear realization of the wisdom of the path of joining is not established as a Bodhisattva. Furthermore, in the Sutra Ornament and other texts, one is established as a Bodhisattva by possessing the qualities of the six perfections. Also, in terms of showing the definition of the name Bodhisattva without confusion, only the noble ones of the Mahayana are given the name Bodhisattva. It should be understood that ordinary beings are not like that. Some people think that on the ground of ordinary beings,
