May I, through the wisdom of great bliss, in the very moment of seeing, have the flaws of samsaric illusion pacified right now. Supreme Lama, inseparable mother of the three kayas, I trust that you are the master of all lineages. May I generate the devotion of seeing you as the single deity, the essence of all refuges. All the self-appearing deities of the three kayas of the Victorious Ones are not outside of my own awareness. May I directly see the face of the deity, the naturally luminous, inseparable essence. Because of not recognizing my own face, I am exhausted by the illusory wheel of conceptualization. May I naturally and loosely abide in the inexpressible palace of great bliss, my own place. Without artifice of grasping, may the fixation on aims subside; without being carried away by distraction, may the desire for accomplishment be exhausted; without being bound by attachment, may the illusion of affirmation and negation vanish. May I be liberated on the path of equanimity. Without being bound by hope, may the blessings of the Victorious Ones enter; without being tainted by doubt, may the obstacles of the demonic forces be pacified; with faith in the Dharma, may the knot of hesitation be untied. May I increase virtuous activity in vast openness. May the courage that never falters enter my mind; may the mindfulness that never diminishes come to my being; through the practice of transforming adverse conditions into the path. May whatever arises dawn as a friend. May the demon of ego-grasping, the belief in existence, be pulverized into dust; may I take upon myself the suffering of others' illusions; with the illusory fire of the two accumulations, may I burn the afflictions. May I dry up the river of mirage-like thirst. Through the yoga of the ascetic conduct of non-attachment, may I offer my illusory body as a feast to guests; may I cut off the creeper of the conceited demon from its root. May I be liberated on the path of Chö. May I realize the truth of the origin of suffering on the noble path; may I see the aggregates of suffering as supreme deities; without seeking elsewhere, may I find enlightenment within myself. May I realize the inseparability of samsara and nirvana. May I abandon attachment to this life like harmful poison; may I abandon the thoughts of the eight worldly concerns like leftovers on the road; seeing self-interest as an executioner. May I equalize life and practice. Holding the remote mountain cave far from gatherings; rich with the wealth of contentment that never diminishes; with the single-pointed samadhi that is without distraction. May I fulfill the Lama's intention. Despising the unrelated ego; holding dear the beings who have been my kin since beginningless time; dedicating the effortless virtue to beings. May I repay the kindness of my parents in samsara. Because of the destruction of clinging to the best, I am revered by all; because of taming my own mind, the appearances of others... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have completely subdued (everything). Due to pure intention, your activities flourish and expand. You are the protector and refuge of the vulnerable. Even though in the ultimate sphere of reality, cause and effect are not established, the way dependent arising manifests as cause and effect does not cease. May I, from the depths of my heart, generate unwavering faith in the excellent path that pleases the Victorious One of union. You hold the treasury of the Victorious One's teachings with non-attachment, generate compassion for beings from a state of non-objectification, and while realizing emptiness, for the sake of deluded beings, your spontaneously accomplished activities never cease. Through diligent practice, may the accumulation of merit from the three times, without diminishing or deteriorating, be dedicated entirely, like Manjushri the Hero, to the sphere of non-mentation, dedicated to remembrance. May the visions at the time of death appear as deities and gurus, and without the intermediate state, may I be reborn in a pure realm, greeted by a host of heroes and heroines, accompanied by wondrous signs. May your intention not stray from the Dharmakaya, and may your activities follow the Victorious Ones like an ocean, until the suffering of samsara is exhausted, may you be the protector and refuge of all beings. This was written by Kunga Gyaltsen, a yogi wandering in the mountains, who was cared for by the kindness of Jamyang Lotar Wangpo, the complete and perfect Buddha, and the Chakravarti Gonpo Jamyang Ngawang Kunga Legpai Jungne Yeshe Gyaltsen Pal Zangpo, and many other holy beings, in the secluded place of Tsangchen Gos. The Lord of Speech, of the Khon lineage, the Sakya lineage, holding the secret treasury of immaculate speech, nourishing the fortunate with the nectar of excellent explanations, I prostrate to the feet of the Lama, the King of Dharma. Turning your back on worldly affairs with pure morality, cherishing beings like your own children with pure intention, skillfully perceiving samsara and nirvana as equal, I prostrate to the feet of the Great Being, the Lama. Seeking the profound Dharma with prolonged diligence, severing attachments from within by contemplating its meaning, subduing the enemies of afflictions by meditating as it is, I prostrate to the feet of the Lama, who has perfected abandonment and realization. Raising the victory banner of practice with intense asceticism, realization arising from within by meditating on the profound meaning, blessed manifestly by deities and lamas, I prostrate to the feet of the Lama, the Lord of Accomplishments. Holding a humble position, upholding the conduct of superiors, abandoning the eight worldly concerns, engaging in the essential practice, taking self and others... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
