Your supreme form, blazing with the light of marks and signs, is nectar to the eyes of all beings; Proclaiming the great sound of the Dharma of the Three Vehicles, in accordance with the minds of various beings; Although the thoughts of grasping at the duality of place and the one possessing the place have ceased, You see all dharmas without obscuration, I bow to you, Thubwang (释迦牟尼佛，Śākyamuni, Śākyamuni, Power of the Sage), as the guru of beings! Although you never move from the unborn realm of Dharma, In an instant, in countless world realms, You show the unobstructed manifestations of your form, I bow to the incomparable guide of the gods! With unspeakable speech, without abandoning the nature of Dharma, To the ears of various beings with different realms, faculties, and inclinations, In an instant, the sound of Dharma, You proclaim in accordance with their minds. Although all the characteristics of thought have completely subsided, You do not abandon endless beings with compassion, And the reality of dharmas is not hidden from you. Therefore, your mind is beyond the realm of measurement. In countless eons, you have perfectly accomplished the two accumulations, And through completely abandoning all faults, In knowing what is and is not, etc., You have reached the far shore of the ocean of qualities of freedom and maturity. Guide, your deeds are like a wish-fulfilling jewel! Even though all thoughts of effort and exertion have ceased, When the victory banner of aspiration is well offered at the summit, You completely fulfill the hopes of all beings. Supreme Lord of the vast realms, Thubpa (释迦牟尼佛，Śākyamuni, Śākyamuni, Power of the Sage)! Through the power of praising slightly with the best and most sincere mind, May you show your good face with great joy, May that land of great joy be manifested! This was composed by the Shākya monk Kunga Gyaltsen, praising the qualities of the body, speech, mind, and activities of Thubpa (释迦牟尼佛，Śākyamuni, Śākyamuni, Power of the Sage) from the perspective of abiding in virtue. 功德赞： 至尊圣者亦难尽言说， 如我稚童怎能测度？ 然我仍以虔诚之心略述。 雪域圣贤成就者， 虽曾涌现逾亿之众， 然于引导之行无人能及， 故我心向您追随。 您悲悯雪域众生， 于取舍明辨之慧眼未离之际， 遂于吉祥萨迦之殿堂， 以殊胜瑞相降生。 昔日文殊菩萨亲临， 屡屡垂顾并予摄受， 故此生于声明、因明、宗义等， 一切论藏皆具无上智慧。 您以令诸佛欢喜之 妙语，挥洒无量光芒， 启迪求解脱之士， 令其智慧莲花盛开。 您以正理之利剑， 斩断外道与雪域， 追随者之邪见， 荡涤佛法之荆棘。 您以正量之理善加阐释， 显明深广之胜义， 并赐予智者甘露般之 论著，驱散其心中之黑暗。 如梦如幻，如阳焰水月， 您如是善巧通达诸法， 不为二取分别之垢所染， 亲见无生法性，远离戏论。 当您垂视 为无尽痛苦所折磨之 可怜众生时， 您怀有纵舍身命亦无所惜之 无上大悲。 您以无量威力， 将无边众生从轮回苦海中 救度，并赐予解脱之乐， 您之功业堪与佛陀比肩。 您于此土圆满利乐 教法与众生之事业后， 示现涅槃之相， 然我听闻于东方现喜世界， 怙主您正享用十地之功德。 故我以坚定之信心祈祷， 祈请您以无垢智慧之眼垂视， 赐予为无明愚痴之索紧缚之 卑微我以抉择智慧。 您是手持文殊宝剑之化身， 蒙受殊胜本尊之摄受， 并获得亲身之授记， 此乃无上秘密之传记。

Eulogy of Virtues: Even the supreme noble ones cannot fully express it, How can a child like me fathom it? Yet, I will briefly describe it with a reverent heart. In this land of snows, wise and accomplished ones, Though more than a billion have emerged, None can match your guiding deeds, Therefore, my heart follows you. You, with compassion for the beings of the snowy land, While your discerning eyes for what to accept and reject have not departed, Were born in the glorious Sakya monastery, With wondrous and auspicious signs. In the past, the actual Manjushri himself came, Repeatedly cared for and embraced you, Therefore, in this life, regarding grammar, logic, tenets, etc., You possess supreme wisdom in all treatises. You, with the speech that pleases all Buddhas, Scattered countless rays of light, Enlightened those seeking liberation, Causing the lotus of their wisdom to bloom. You, with the sword of reason, Cut through the wrong views of heretics and followers in the snowy land, Clearing away the thorns of the teachings. You, having well-established through the path of valid cognition, Clarified the profound and vast suchness, And bestowed upon the wise a feast of nectar-like treatises, dispelling the darkness in their minds. Like dreams, illusions, mirages, and moon reflections in water, You skillfully understood all phenomena, Unstained by the dirt of dualistic grasping, You saw the unborn nature of reality, free from elaboration. When you gazed upon The miserable beings tormented by unbearable suffering, You possessed the great compassion Of being able to give even your cherished life. You, with immeasurable power, Rescued countless beings from the ocean of samsara, And bestowed the bliss of liberation, Your deeds are equal to those of the Buddhas. Having completed the work of benefiting The teachings and beings in this realm, You manifested the act of passing into nirvana, But I have heard that in the Abhirati world in the east, Protector, you are enjoying the glory of the ten bhumis. Therefore, I pray with unwavering faith, Please look upon me with your stainless wisdom eye, Grant me, who am bound tightly by the noose of ignorance and delusion, The wisdom of discernment.
