If one abides and does not follow, without moving from the state of awareness, one will obtain the qualities of the divine eye and the five eyes, as well as all the qualities of purified senses, such as the collection of superknowledges. Thus, the six superknowledges are: knowing all four times, knowing all streams of mind, seeing all everywhere with the eye of miraculous power, hearing all everywhere with the ear of miraculous power, accomplishing benefit in all gatherings with the body of miraculous power, and perfecting the stainless, all-good conduct; these are the six. If one is not grasped by the wisdom of divine vision, then mere quiescence, because it is latent with self-grasping, cannot uproot the object from the root of existence, nor will it fall into lower realms; therefore, it is the action of non-movement, merely being born in the formless realm of meditation, with no other meaning. Although ordinary beings can simultaneously attain great results, ordinary beings cling to the bliss of mere quiescence, and the activity of consciousness fades into emptiness, thus being born in the peak of existence. However, noble ones, because they possess the wisdom of insight that is separate from self, and the distinction of individual self-awareness, even though they possess the qualities of formless realm meditation, their minds do not abide in self-nature, therefore they are not born in higher realms, but rather attain the irreversible mind, and from the lower realms up to Akanistha, they attain the higher wisdom of seeing and cultivating the path, thereby attaining liberation. Furthermore, the nine successive abidings are: the first dhyana, the second dhyana, the third dhyana, the fourth dhyana, the sphere of infinite space, the sphere of infinite consciousness, the sphere of nothingness, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception, and the firm cultivation of these becomes the cause of being born in the form and formless realms. Cessation is the attainment of the samadhi that ceases worldly feelings and perceptions, that is, the cessation of the mind's elaboration, and the qualities of awareness also become latent. Among these, entering cessation through analysis and examination is the cessation of the mind's elaboration. Non-conceptual cessation without examination, although it does not conceptualize the nature of reality, from the aspect of wisdom, unconditioned great compassion does not cease, therefore it accomplishes the benefit of sentient beings. In short, the wisdom realized by the noble ones, and the individual

The two meditations practiced by sentient beings seem similar when measured by knowledge, but there is a great difference in the realm of wisdom. In the case of meditation, the fundamental abiding reality is taken as the path of the mind, while in the state of wisdom, it is necessary to distinguish the difference where the proliferation appearing on awareness naturally subsides. Root verse: If thought is connected with an object, it is an ordinary state; Like a mirror, clear awareness, The appearing objects are unobstructed, shining like stars, But if not stained by discriminating thoughts, The object of grasping and the mind of grasping, The connection is severed, each self-aware, Non-discriminating, Wisdom has now reached the ground of the supreme guru. This means that if thoughts cling to the appearing objects, thinking "this is this, that is that," then mutual connections arise. If this is the case, ordinary beings will lose understanding, experience, and realization of the mind's true nature. If it is not like that, in the wisdom or awareness of the mind's nature, which is like a clear mirror, the appearing objects, namely the five senses of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch, and the phenomena appearing in consciousness, these six shine unhindered like stars, but if they are not stained by discriminating thoughts, that is, the thought of "this is this, that is that," the connection between the six objects of grasping and the mind that grasps is severed, each self-aware, without dwelling on discrimination, thereby realizing the state beyond the seer and the seen, and immediately reaching the sixteen wisdom gurus, which is the fruition of the sixteen grounds of the Great Perfection. That is the meaning. Root verse: In short, the path of the Dharmadhatu is the one Dharmata, The path of awareness is the special wisdom, The path of luminosity is the two lamps, The path of trekchö is simultaneous arising and liberation, The path of tögal is Dharmadhatu and awareness. This means that the lower five paths, which hold cause and effect as pure liberation, are summarized in the Great Perfection, the indivisible Dharmata, transcending mental discrimination, then the path of the Dharmadhatu of all phenomena, the emptiness, does not go beyond the one Dharmata. The path of awareness is special wisdom, that is, individual discernment. The path of luminosity, the path of tögal, is the two lamps, namely the far-reaching water lamp and the bindu emptiness lamp. The path of trekchö is simultaneous arising and liberation, the path of tögal is the Dharmadhatu, that is, the essence emptiness, and awareness, that is, the wisdom that does not sink.
