Me Hung Hrih! Buddha Jnana Dharma Dhatu Ah! All the sins and obscurations accumulated from beginningless time throughout the three times through the gate of mind by the deceased, Sarva Shuddhe Shuddhe Svaha! After reciting these three mantras, wash away impurities with water. Then, the method of extracting poison: Hūṃ! The five lights of ignorance's display, grasping and clinging tightly to self, the five inner and outer elements in pairs, the source and origin of the five poisons, the poisons that are like parents. Through the play of the five mantras, samadhi, and skill, extract the poison, purify all the obscurations of the five poisons, may they dissolve into their respective elements. May the mind that clings to poison become empty like the sky! At the end of the six-syllable mantra, add "Byema Dralwa." All the sins and obscurations accumulated from beginningless time throughout the three times by the deceased, Sarva Shuddhe Shuddhe Svaha! Recite the above three bathing mantras, along with the purification mantra below, three times each in their respective sections. Then, guide the beings of the six realms: move the nameplates in order, and arrange six tormas, offering them to the beings of the six realms in order. First, purify the obscurations of the hell realm: Hūṃ! The torma, endowed with the five qualities of desire, is a treasure of complete necessities. Dedicated to purify the grudges and needs of flesh and blood accumulated by the deceased through hatred. Namaḥ Sarva Tathagata Avalokite Oṃ Sambhara Sambhara Hūṃ! Immediately after reciting, offer the torma. The Thubpa of the hell realm will then bestow empowerment: Hūṃ! The emanation body that purifies hatred and tames beings, the Thubpa of the hell realm holding the emblems of fire and water. By bestowing empowerment upon the son of the deceased's lineage, may he receive the empowerment of the three secrets of Akshobhya Vajra! Oṃ Muneye Svaha! Oṃ Daha Daha Sarva Naraka Gate Hetu Na Hūṃ Phat! Reciting these, the deceased mixes his mind with his own mind. Visualize destroying hell from its roots. Hūṃ! Listen, deceased, son of the reborn lineage. The fault of grasping selflessness as self, and the result of hatred and attachment from grasping otherness as otherness, the container and contents of the hot and cold hells are so terrifying. In reality, it is a delusion of one's own mind. Like waking from a dream of delusion, recognize this and abandon the hell realm. Reciting thus, move the nameplate and discard the expelled torma. Hūṃ!
