After reciting the longevity mantra, if desired, perform the expansive longevity invocation ritual. If not desired, hold the longevity arrow and recite: hrīḥ: Lords of gods and vidyādharas of longevity! In any case, grant indestructible longevity, extend life, and obtain great fortune! Bestow upon me this immortal longevity empowerment! While reciting the longevity mantra, place the longevity arrow on the head. May you receive the longevity empowerment!
