From that time on, one is taught the practice of the illusory wheel of wind and visualization, for a hundred days or fifty days, a month, etc., depending on the situation. During the day, two sessions are combined with the illusory wheel, and during the night, two sessions are sufficient with only wind and visualization. Even when it is warm, one should not be naked, and when it is cold, one should not wear fur coats or thick clothes, but should get used to wearing thin clothes. One should not warm oneself excessively by the fire and the sun, abandon foods that lack nutrients, strive to increase the body's strength, and it is important to protect the bindu. Furthermore, I have heard a story that dogs are not allowed in the practice place from the beginning, but if they have already been kept, they cannot be driven away, and one must consider that this will become a cause of sin. Therefore, relying on the refuge, one must avoid harming sentient beings, which is the Pratimoksha vow; on this basis, one must benefit others, which is the Bodhicitta. One should regard the stable and moving deities and their supports as the path, and one must learn where these three contradict the mantra, and examine whether it will become a thorn in meditation. Regarding the female precepts, one must also avoid women staying overnight in the forest, and not allow them to enter the rooms, etc., and one must ensure that there is no contradiction with both Sutra and Tantra, just like the precepts regarding dogs mentioned earlier, and one should not go to extremes. Furthermore, trivial matters such as playing musical instruments are omitted because they are not important. During the practice sessions, one must also be able to prohibit lighting fires, fetching water, traveling, entering and exiting, beating drums, playing music, etc. Usually, one should not beat clothes on the roof, one should not make loud calls, and one should not watch spectacles or other unsightly things. In general, practitioners should establish their own rules, and whether in public or in private, they should not hide their own faults, nor should they spread evil words that reveal the faults of others. In particular, the Dharma friends gathered by good aspirations should, through mutual purification of visualization, hold the teacher Vajradhara on their heads, and not allow confusion in the acceptance and rejection of vows, and listen to the instructions from above and below. Looking at oneself, one should have shame, and put others first, one should have embarrassment, and whatever one does, one should not be willful, form factions, be biased, undermine secretly, sow discord, be greedy and hateful, compete for superiority, despise others, etc., and not do anything that would become an obstacle. One should be like a bird looking upwards, like righting a boat, it is important to become an object of envy for others. The tenth day and...

During all Ganachakra feasts, when the Sangha gathers, do not be content with reciting whatever ritual comes to hand. Instead, avoid excessive elaboration with music and the like, which can cause distraction. Without deviating from the essence of the three holds, the timing of the ritual should be relaxed when appropriate and serious when appropriate. All these rules and behaviors should become a cause for generating faith and joy in the devotees. In this way, without confusing what to adopt and what to abandon, diligently conduct the winter Dharma teachings and so on for three months and ten days of winter. In the three months of spring and the beginning of summer, arrange two daily sessions, including the leg-bell for Chod practice, and the drumbeat, water offering, white offering, red offering, and burnt offering for Tor-tun practice. The evening dedication should be elaborate or concise as appropriate, but without interruption. This is the custom during relaxed periods, and autumn is the same. Furthermore, the summer retreat and mid-summer retreat, starting from the waxing moon, last for fifty days, which is the tradition of the practice monastery. During this period, the increase or decrease in the number of practice sessions is the same as in the winter retreat. In the forest on the naturally formed hill of Denri Lhundrup Gang (དབེན་རི་ལྷུན་གྲུབ་སྒང་, located in Quxu County, Lhasa), there are cuckoos and blue birds with their tokens. If they stay for a long time, they become like "rogmo" (a kind of coarse food), neither pleasing to the eye nor pleasing to the ear. Just as old people return to their homeland and old birds return to the forest, now I will not stay. For the benefit of all beings, I will give up delicious foods such as tea, alcohol, meat, and blood, as well as luxurious clothes such as wool and silk. Even if I can barely make a living, or cannot make a living, I will eat coarse food and wear ragged clothes. While guarding the state of no birth and no death, I will joyfully let go of attachment to the physical body. No matter how well-arranged and magnificent the dwelling is, the high throne, bed, tiger skin, clothes, cushions, etc., are all like enjoyments in a dream. How can attachment and clinging arise to them? Even if I am supported by the king, praised by everyone, bowed to by great figures, and my fame shines like the sun, I must abandon arrogance and seek humility, rather than clinging to consolidate my position. If I cannot guard myself with the army of the eight worldly concerns, then like Indra, who has conquered everything, while raising the victory banner, can I also accomplish the fearless deeds of the Buddha? These words are just a last will and testament, like casual talk. There is neither order nor pleasantness.
