Although exceedingly white like a lotus pond, the fault of having been previously obscured by outsiders, the manifestation of tending towards a bad destiny, was transformed into a fortunate destiny solely through the power of the Buddha. The supreme wise ones, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as well as the Seven Patriarchs, and the Six Ornaments and Two Supremes who adorn Jambudvipa, etc., all the treatises of the sages and accomplished ones who arose in the past in India and Tibet, whose treasure of purifying qualities is like a great ocean, free from the three faults of falling, decaying, and leaking, and firmly established without being destroyed. Now, most of those who wish to compose treatises, the faults of their compositions are meaningless, the meaning is reversed, malicious and deceitful, separated from the essence, focused on learning, and focused on debate, not free from the six evils of outsiders. Without possessing the three qualities of the inner path, which are corresponding to meaning, eliminating suffering, and focusing on practice, they still engage in writing, which is shameless and brazenly writing, like the ocean making the clamor of waves due to the fault of the wind. Although this kind does not show any beauty surpassing the past, it is necessary to rely on speaking about any kind of Dharma, therefore, it is appropriate to listen to this treatise, so it is explained. The Dharma to be explained is of two types, namely the Sutra path and the Mantra path. First, like a ladder, it must be explained from the bottom up, so first, in order to determine the nature of the ten leisures and endowments, the collection of leisures and endowments is first divided into five parts: distinguishing the human body, explaining the eight unfavorable circumstances of no leisure, determining the nature of leisure and endowment, and explaining the reasons for being difficult to obtain, like this: From beginningless time until now, for those beings who have been afflicted by the plague of birth, old age, sickness, and death, the great medicine, like the white medicine that can cure all diseases, is the sacred Dharma that possesses the essence of the taste of liberation nectar. For those unfortunate beings who possess this Dharma but do not practice it, abandoning it at will, how should I measure them? These are teachings of sorrow. From a long time ago, with whom have we been intimate and friendly? It is the six realms of samsara. The nomadic solitary place is a place where life and limb are in danger.

Again and again clinging to unsuitable bodies, tormented again and again by the painful feelings of having heads and limbs cut off, and also, there is no certainty of not being born in the eight states of disadvantage, such as the three lower realms, and of extensively accumulating merit and abandoning evil. Just as in previous lives, in the future, one will be tormented by suffering in those evil places, those hidden places that are not visible now. Because one does not reflect at all on one's own faults and unwholesome actions, but still thinks that one will surely obtain the happiness of the heavenly realms, and clings and is attached to them, this is extremely foolish and ignorant. One's own thoughts are inverted and confused, causing the loss of the excellent qualities of the path to liberation, and such a person will fall lower and lower from this life to the next. Wandering in the three lower realms and the formless realm, remote border areas, incomplete faculties, wrong views, and places where no Buddha appears. Thus it is said. As it is said: Hell beings, hungry ghosts, and animals, barbarians, long-lived gods, and wrong views, emptiness of Buddhas, and mutes, these are the eight states of disadvantage. Like this. In those evil places, there is no opportunity to seek happiness even for a single moment, on the iron-burned ground, various weapons cruelly kill again and again, even if life is taken again and again, those hell beings who cannot die until their karma is exhausted are still trapped by the evil karma of anger, and when that ripening result is exhausted, their lifespan comes to an end. Similarly, if one is born as a hungry ghost, because even food such as pus, blood, and feces is difficult to find, the miserable situation of the hungry ghosts being poor and destitute goes without saying. Craving rivers and trees, but they dry up as soon as they are looked at. Even if a little food is eaten, it burns into flames in the stomach, and the suffering of the internal organs being scorched is endless. This is because of the accumulation of the cause of evil karma in previous lives, due to the power of obscurations of varying lengths, so there is no certainty about lifespan. For animals, there is also the consumption of flesh and blood, mutual devouring, the threat of hunters, far from gentle matters, and extremely cruel taking of life. Being used for riding and carrying loads, being whipped in the process of taming, what can be done if these miserable beings obtain rebirth in these places?
