就像教导文献中阐明的那样，就像乌龟的脖子难以遇到轭木的孔一样，从数量上来说难以获得（人身）。人和畜生，用昼夜的星星来区分，将这些依次与饿鬼和地狱相加，也能明白（人身难得）。因此，在这没有放弃被生命力所掌控的暇满大船的身体的时候，如果不超越轮回痛苦的巨大水海的彼岸，就会出现很多像经咒的法道上的客人一样寻求意义的人。想要渡到水的彼岸，却不寻找机会来成办意义，就会趋向于徒劳无益的听闻，所以应当舍弃喧嚣和懒惰，生起对佛法的精进。功德宝藏论第一品的简释完毕。 第一品。

Just as it is explained in the instructional texts, like the difficulty of a turtle's neck encountering the hole in a yoke, it is difficult to obtain (a human body) in terms of numbers. Humans and animals, distinguished by the stars of day and night, adding these sequentially to pretas and hells, one can also understand (the rarity of human birth). Therefore, in this time when the great ship of leisure and endowment, this body, has not relinquished being held by the life force, if one does not cross to the far shore of the great ocean of suffering of samsara, many will appear like guests on the path of sutra and tantra seeking meaning. If one desires to cross to the other side of the water but does not seek opportunities to accomplish meaning, one will tend towards fruitless listening, so one should abandon busyness and laziness and generate diligence in the Dharma.
