In the Shakya clan's household, there was a maid named Rohita. The esteemed wife of the Shakya clan and the maid went together to hear the Teacher's teachings. The queen's pearl necklace was left at home, so she sent the maid to retrieve it. The maid regretted having to leave and miss hearing the Dharma. The Teacher, knowing this, bestowed upon her a verse. As the maid recited the verse while walking on the road, she was struck and killed by a cow and was reborn as the daughter of the King of Simhala. At her birth, it rained pearls, so she was named Pearl Girl or Pearl Vine. Later, due to her merit, merchants from Shravasti crossed the ocean and arrived in Simhala. At night, they heard someone singing the verses spoken by the Buddha. The daughter was delighted and said, "Sing it again." The merchants said, "This is not a song, but the teachings of the Teacher, the Buddha." Upon hearing this, the daughter developed great faith and joy and inquired about the story of the Buddha. The merchants praised the Buddha's virtues to the best of their ability, and the daughter became even more faithful and joyful than before. She then sent a letter to the Bhagavan, which read: "How wonderful! You, who can be obtained by the accumulation of merit, are the only mindfulness. You are the excellent medicine of existence that destroys decay, suffering, and samsara. The words that come from the Bhagavan are the proximate cause for experiencing true awakening. The Bhagavan, you are my nectar, the greatest fortune." After seeing the letter, the Teacher had an image of the Buddha, which a painter could not have depicted, painted on cloth, and attached some verses of the teachings below it, sending it to her. Upon seeing the image, she immediately experienced a meditative state that was no different from that of the Buddha, and she generated the mind of refuge in the Three Jewels, understood the nature of the Five Precepts, the Twelve Links of Dependent Origination, the Eightfold Noble Path, and so on, and ultimately attained the fruit of Stream-entry. The daughter introduced the people of that land to the gate of the Buddhist teachings, and that image was known as "Thupa Ozer Ma" (Buddha Radiant Light), and it is said to be the first of all Buddha images. The King of Simhala had previously adhered to non-Buddhist traditions, and the daughter was also influenced by this, so she did not abandon the eighty-four thousand defilements like a Shravaka or Pratyekabuddha, nor did she...

Untamed. Like mantras, afflictions that are not liberated in their own nature, because they possess their own lineage, are called the 'voice of the demoness.' Although her face is as white as a garden of Kundha flowers, the fault of being previously covered by outsiders manifests in a bad destiny, and only through the power of the Buddha can it be transformed into good fortune. The supreme Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, as well as the Seven Patriarchs of the Transmission, the Six Ornaments and Two Supremes who adorn Jambudvipa, and all the scholars and accomplished ones who have appeared in India and Tibet in the past, their teachings are a treasure of virtuous qualities, like a great ocean, free from the faults of the three leakages, and unshakably firm. Now, most of those who wish to write treatises in this era, the faults of their writings are that they are meaningless, have inverted meanings, are malicious and deceitful, lack essence, emphasize learning, and emphasize debate, failing to escape the six evils of outsiders. Although they do not possess the three qualities of the inner path—meaningfulness, abandoning suffering, and emphasizing practice—they still engage in writing, which is the behavior of the shameless and thick-skinned, like the ocean making the noise of waves due to the fault of the wind. This kind of behavior does not show any beauty surpassing the past, but in order to be able to speak about any kind of Dharma, therefore, this treatise should be listened to, as explained. Furthermore, the Dharma to be taught is divided into two types: the Sutra path and the Tantra path. First, like a ladder, it needs to be explained from the bottom up, so first, in order to determine the nature of the ten freedoms and endowments, the collection of freedoms and endowments is first divided into five: distinguishing the human body, explaining the eight unfavorable conditions that contradict the freedoms and endowments, determining the nature of the freedoms and endowments, and explaining the reasons for its difficulty to obtain, as follows: From beginningless time until now, for those beings who are afflicted by the epidemic of birth, old age, sickness, and death, the great medicine, like the 'White Medicine One Success,' is the supreme Dharma that possesses the essence of the nectar of liberation. However, for those evil beings who possess this Dharma but do not practice it, abandoning it at will, what can I do? These are words of sorrow.

Alas! From a long time ago, that is, from beginningless time, who is intimate and friendly with? It is the six realms of samsara. In desolate places, that is, in dangerous places where life and limb are threatened, one is born again and again. The painful feelings of having one's head and limbs cut off torment one again and again. Moreover, here, there is no sufficient confidence that one can avoid being born in the eight states of unfreedom, such as the three lower realms, by not doing vast good deeds and abandoning sins. Just like in previous lives, in the future, one will be tormented by suffering in evil places. Those that are now invisible and hidden, because they do not care about their own faults and non-virtuous actions, still think that they will surely attain the bliss of the heavenly realms, and are extremely foolish to crave and cling to it. One's own thoughts are reversed and confused, thereby destroying the excellence of the path to liberation. Such a person will fall lower and lower from this life to the next. One wanders in the three lower realms and the formless realm, borderlands, with incomplete faculties, with wrong views, and in places where no Buddha appears. Thus it is said. As the scripture says: "Hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, and, border regions, long-life gods, and, wrong views, where Buddhas do not appear, the mute, these eight unfree states." Just like this. In those evil places, there is no opportunity to seek happiness even for a moment. On the iron-burning ground, being brutally cut down by various weapons, even if life is taken away again and again, those hell beings who cannot die until their karma is exhausted are still bound by the evil karma of anger. When the fruition of karma is exhausted, life comes to an end. Similarly, if one is reborn as a hungry ghost, it is needless to say how poor and miserable the hungry ghosts are, because even food such as pus, blood, and feces is difficult to find. Craving rivers and trees, but they dry up as soon as one looks at them. Even if one drinks a little food, it burns in the belly, and the suffering of the internal organs being burned has no end. This is due to the accumulation of evil karma in previous lives, caused by obstructions of varying lengths, so there is no certainty about lifespan. For animals, they all live on flesh and blood, eating each other, and the threat of hunters is far from happiness, and very...
