Supreme awareness, possessing unobstructed wisdom, Through the power of proofs such as arising and ceasing, It is established and has cut off wrong views, Immediately realizing that very suchness. 'Acting as usual,' and so on, thus it is said, Inconceivable, without contradiction, Only a valid cognition can establish it. Though not departing from the nature of Dharmadhatu Yet due to the obscuration of self-appearance, The sufferings of beings are all due to self-appearance, Not made by the wisdom body. The wisdom body and the appearance of beings, When the two gather, The body appears with various impermanent, Dancing postures. Though the qualities are immeasurable, Yet all aspects are body, Indestructible speech, omniscient mind, Qualities, immeasurable activity, The five wheels of secret adornment, Are inexhaustible and equal. Though others desire impermanence, Yet because of desiring omniscience, how? The wisdom of 'as it is' and 'as many as' are one, Because it is difficult to establish, therefore on both sides, Though appearing numerous, there is no fault of numerousness, Though appearing to change, Yet the name of change is on the object, Suddenly entering, the essence spontaneously accomplished. Knowing the reason of non-contradiction, Is the supreme one possessing profound wisdom. Like the four phrases such as 'cognition is not constant,' This too is a sudden change, By the power of exhausting the stains, Establishing the nature of two purities. On the nature of constant self-arising, There is no cause for establishment, because it is inherent. A pervasive and constant cause cannot exist, Therefore, everything born from a cause, in object and time, Is temporary, not constant and pervasive. The causeless Dharma-nature is constant and pervasive. Like the Dharma-nature, gone, The essence is constant like equality, The way of appearance appears temporarily like cause and effect. Like seeing clouds in the sky like the sun, Established by the power of terminology. His blessing and self-appearance, Are different from awareness, not constant, By the power of spontaneous accomplishment and the mind of beings, The operation of gathering and appearing, Because it is unmade, it is self-born. In the non-dual Dharma, the two, Distinguishing has no meaning, By terminology, in reality, Establishing constancy, therefore it is powerful. Therefore, the non-dual, Union of emptiness and appearance, From appearance arises all great qualities, Unobstructed, spontaneously accomplished. The primordially self-born Dharma-nature also, When appearing, the distinction of the two, On the application of terminology, by cause and condition, It is impossible without establishment. Therefore, on the classification of appearance, If it is not dependent arising, it cannot exist. Therefore, speaking of the path of dependent arising, Can cut off the saying of permanence and annihilation. Distinguishing the two --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the interdependence of life, All phenomena appear, yet their essence, Transcends causes and conditions, The nature of reality is inconceivable. Because of the reason of these two being one, Knowing that one is established, One enters the secret realm of the Sugata (Sugata, Tathagata). The fruit is omniscient (Sarvajnana, all-knowing), eternal, Therefore, the ground (Ālaya, base) is spontaneously accomplished. To the short-sighted mind, There is no such ultimate giving. Therefore, this is extremely profound, Utterly firm. Therefore, even great Bodhisattvas, Find it difficult to realize as it is. In the profound nature of Samsara and Nirvana, The wisdom of abiding properly, And the faith in profound methods, Those will quickly become Buddhas. If one realizes this principle, Among the knowable, There is nothing superior. Even just hearing and having faith, One will obtain immeasurable benefits. The way to accomplish the supreme of all knowable— The wisdom body of the Buddha, Whatever merit is accumulated by speaking, May all beings attain the wisdom body! Mipham wrote this spontaneously on the 1st day of the 11th month. The Utpala of Accomplished Mantras: If the essence of mantras, such as the four accomplishments, is not found, it is emptiness. Like the one-syllable mantra, etc., accomplishing the four accomplishments in interdependence is the secret of speech. The Utpala of Accomplished Mantras resides. Vāgīśvara (Vāgīśvara, Manjushri) great orator, Holy one of speech, king of speech, Lion of speech, unshakeable, Vāgīśvara, I prostrate to you! All dharmas are primordially uncreated, Abiding in the equality of self-nature, The mantra of the Tathāgatas (Tathāgata, Buddhas), Is the basis of all mantras, All that appears as phenomena, Arises as the play of body and wisdom. Arising is not imputed, But abides in its own nature. The power of that and that ability, Is accomplished without obstruction, Just as medicine destroys disease, The power of mantra is inconceivable. All the forms of mantra, Are blessed by the Five Tathagatas (Pañca-Tathāgata, Five Dhyani Buddhas), The deity (Iṣṭadevatā, personal deity) abides in the form of mantra, Blessing the practitioner. If one examines the essence of mantra well, It is not found as a characteristic dharma, Self-nature is primordially unestablished, Therefore, it primordially abides in equality. There is no one-syllable mantra, Nor are there many-syllable mantras, It is not the cessation of letters, Nor is it completely non-existent. Accomplished by the essence of the nature of reality, Accomplished by the self-nature of phenomena, Accomplished by the power of ability, Accomplished by blessing, Emptiness and interdependence are inseparable, Supreme. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
