Upon examination, there is no establishment in the ultimate sense. The true state is the ultimate truth. Measured by the two valid cognitions, The two truths are distinct, each established separately. Ultimately, the two truths are inseparable, Although all phenomena are unestablished in their own nature, The mere appearance cannot be denied. This is the union of essence, free from conceptual extremes. It is naturally present as such from the beginning. At that time, in the mere appearance of self-display, What intelligent person would not realize it? The various dream-like and illusory minds, When examined, are unestablished in their own nature. All appearances have the nature of a moon in water, Understanding the union of clarity and emptiness. This is not merely a mental conjecture, But is firmly established on one's own awareness. It is the wisdom body of all Buddhas, The essence of Dharma, the primordial mind. It is the youthful Mañjuśrī (Mañjuśrīkumāra) of definitive meaning. Seeing directly with awareness free from conceptualization. In the state of suchness as it is, Rest in the natural state, uncorrected by the mind. See the truth as it is in reality. Liberation comes from seeing the truth. The four vajra syllables, Are the four self-displaying natures, the four lamps. Combined with the essence of the four mudras, Accomplish the four methods of the path. A (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal meaning: unborn) is the door of the unborn Dharma. The realm of arising from the unborn realm. The self-luminous nature is like a rainbow-light room. The realm is the lamp of purity. Ra (Tibetan: ར, Sanskrit Devanagari: र, Sanskrit Romanization: ra, Literal meaning: stainless) is the door free from dust. With the eye of wisdom, there is no attachment. The appearance of light is limitless. The door of appearance is like a far-reaching lasso, like a water lamp. Pa (Tibetan: པ, Sanskrit Devanagari: प, Sanskrit Romanization: pa, Literal meaning: ultimate) is the door of ultimate appearance. Emptiness and awareness are non-dual. Luminous clarity, free from elaboration, Is the lamp of self-arisen wisdom. Tsa (Tibetan: ཙ, Sanskrit Devanagari: च, Sanskrit Romanization: ca, Literal meaning: no migration) is without death, transference, or birth. The self-luminous nature, the five families, The mandala naturally abides within, Is the lamp of the empty bindu. Na (Tibetan: ན, Sanskrit Devanagari: न, Sanskrit Romanization: na, Literal meaning: nameless) is the door free from names. All these lamps, Transcend the phenomena of conceptual signs. Meditate repeatedly on the state free from names. Dhīḥ (Tibetan: དྷཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: धीः, Sanskrit Romanization: dhīḥ, Literal meaning: wisdom) is the door of wisdom appearance. In order to make the qualities of the three kayas of the ground, Appear manifestly on the path, Therefore, it surpasses the nine vehicles. When joining with the ultimate result, All phenomena, both conditioned and unconditioned, Dissolve into the realm of great luminosity. Without any clinging, they are utterly pacified. From the great clouds of the outwardly manifest body and wisdom, And from the various adornments, As long as space exists, The power to liberate beings is constantly pervasive. By this merit, may limitless beings, In their own nature, the treasure of bodhicitta, Be spontaneously revealed without effort, May they swiftly attain the fruit of the three kayas! Like the treatises of the omniscient Jamyang Lama, the need and the great interdependence. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
