Like an illusion. May he abide in the proper way, possessing the qualities of perfect marks. In short, based on the unique lineage of those to be tamed by the Great Vehicle of Mantra, may he steadfastly enter the glorious Vajrayana through the qualities of wisdom that can establish all dharmas as inseparable from ultimate truth, and compassion that desires to quickly attain Buddhahood for the sake of all sentient beings. Possessing these two, abandoning the arrogance that obstructs the path, and possessing abundant conducive conditions of faith, may he steadfastly enter the glorious Vajrayana through these indispensable and excellent qualities! The second part has two aspects: dedication for the general path and dedication for the specific paths. The first is: Ripened by empowerment, possessing vows and samaya, Having perfected the two stages of the path through approach and accomplishment, Without difficulty, may he quickly traverse the stages of Vidyadhara, May the two types of siddhi be easily attained. This means that the inherent root-essence, bindu, and mind, along with all sentient beings, abide as the essence of the Vajra of Body, Speech, Mind, and Wisdom. Having awakened this through the four empowerments, and having placed the special ability to ripen into the four kayas in the continuum, and also, depending on the differences in the faculties of individuals, having certainty in the wisdom of the meaning of empowerment in the manner of experience, realization, and understanding, this becomes the cause for being able to practice the path and attain the result. Therefore, it is said 'Ripened by empowerment.' This is the entrance to all paths of Secret Mantra. However, it is not enough to merely receive empowerment; if one does not properly maintain the life-force of the empowerment, which is samaya and vows, then the two types of siddhi will not be attained. Therefore, from the aspect of abandoning faults, it is vows, and from the aspect of accomplishing qualities, it is samaya. That is, possessing the means to restrain all stains of transgression by not transgressing the places of the root and branch vows. Thus, having been ripened by empowerment, and possessing vows and samaya, may that individual, having perfected the approach and accomplishment of the two stages of generation and completion, quickly traverse the stages of the four Vidyadharas without difficulty. That is, the supreme siddhi possessing the seven branches of union, and the common siddhis such as the eight great accomplishments. May these two types of siddhi be easily attained without the need for difficulty or prolonged effort! Therein, approach and accomplishment --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Although there are various ways to combine the four, if combined with the generation stage (Kyerim), it involves contemplating great emptiness, great compassion, and illusion, engaging in approach and accomplishment; practicing from the subtle and coarse mudras to contemplating the mandala of Samye Lhundrup; and attaining the siddhis of the Tsokbum assembly, which is great accomplishment. If combined with the completion stage (Dzogrim), knowing the key points of the relative Bodhicitta, including the support and what is supported, is approach; clarifying the mandala of the self-arisen body key and striking it at the key point is close accomplishment; blessing the mudras is accomplishment; and the great bliss of union of father and mother, the wisdom of example and meaning, is great accomplishment. If combined with both, then the paths of the four empowerments, the generation stage, the completion stage, etc., are combined with the four stages of approach and accomplishment in sequence. The second has three: aspiration for the practice of the Guhyagarbha Tantra; aspiration for the practice of Naropa's Six Dharmas; and aspiration for the practice of Atiyoga (Great Perfection). The first has four: aspiration for the mandala of appearance as the body; aspiration for the mandala of sound as speech; aspiration for the mandala of thoughts as mind; aspiration for all as the play of great bliss. First, 'Whatever appears is complete in the wheel of the magical net,' which means that all phenomena of the outer and inner world, the container and its contents, are freed from clinging to ordinary self-characteristics, and appear as the empty form, the Vajra magical net, like an illusion, transforming and connecting in many ways. Or, whatever appears as illusion transforms or appears as the essence of deities, pure in nature. Thus, deities and assemblies of thoughts are connected or equal without distinction. In short, all that appears is vast and boundless as the assembly or nature of the mandala of deities of the magical net, and all appearances are complete as the essence of the Vajra body. Second, 'Whatever sounds are the sounds of inexpressible mantras,' which means that all sounds, just as they sound, are the union of emptiness and sound, empty in their own essence, inexpressible or the arising of the sound of secret mantras, free from expression. Third, 'The movements of the mind are self-aware, unconditioned,' which means that the various movements of conceptual thoughts of the mind appear as the self-aware, unconditioned sphere of the union of clarity and emptiness, the clear light wisdom of the Vajra mind. Fourth, 'May the great bliss, without union or separation, be realized,' which means that all phenomena of appearance, sound, and thought are the great bliss, the wisdom Vajra of the union of awareness and emptiness. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
