Like a mountain of honey melting, / Together with the formless mind, it merges into the ocean of dissolution. There and there, it blends into a single taste. / Like the splendor of the summer season, unparalleled, A young maiden's medicine that takes the essence of joy, / Immediately upon drinking it without a mouth, but with the mind, It becomes as if the heart is filled with nectar. / Saying this, the greatly intelligent Blo-gros Gsal-ba (Clear Intellect) lifted his face, Following with a song that demonstrates emptiness, transforming it into the voice of a supremely proud king of geese, making it heard by all, saying: Ema! / This desire's lightning lasso that is not satisfied by use, Plays wildly within the clouds of universal ignorance. / If examined, it is like the mirage of the wilderness, Yet it is amazing that it has the power to bind the three realms. / Having been used again and again through lifetimes, If the desire of one being had form, / It would make even a thousand Mount Merus seem small. Yet look at how craving still increases outward. / The pleasure of touch that arises from the three, Although it is not present in the three, / All these beings who dwell in the three, Are ignorant of this and are repeatedly born by the three poisons. / If feeling is the nature of the mind, Then without depending on conditions, is it always happy or sad? / The object of experience that is other than the mind, Please examine how it encounters the mind. / The nature of the mind, which is like the sky, Even the Buddhas have not seen 'this,' / If with the signs of happiness and sadness, How can you clearly contemplate benefit and harm? / Blo-gros Gsal-ba (Clear Intellect), when I look at it, I see the various existences as a play of illusion. / You are also deceived by illusion, And the compassion of illusion burns in me like fire. / Thus, with clear words and an extremely melodious tone, suppressing the voices of the people with the voice of a Gandharva, Those dancers were very pleased with that debater, and everyone looked at him, unanimously praising him like the sound of a Gandharva's lute, singing like this: Like the morning star among the lords of stars, / Like the lotus among the white lotuses, Your song, with the beauty of its tone and composition, / Suppresses our songs. Although we can also contemplate its meaning, / It is reasonable that it can be accomplished in that way, You are the fence that thoroughly protects us / From the precipice of our despair. The name of the holy ones, even in dreams, becomes auspicious, / What need is there to speak of seeing them in person? Having seen them and heard their instructions, / The glory of existence and peace dwells in our laps. Therefore, we are worthy of being praised by you. / Thus they spoke. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Like the supreme of a herd before the herd, you lead us, your followers. May you guide us across the great ocean of suffering, soaring like a swan leading its flock. We, like beads strung together by a thread of love, Beseech you for the supreme method to unite us as one with indestructible vajra in the realm of return. I have heard that many have happily traveled the intertwined path of rainbows. How wonderful it would be if we could go there without parting! Warrior, please show us the way!' Having said this, knowing they possessed excellent wisdom, the great yogi went to the center of the round dance floor, and relying on the secret sounds of the vajra bell and drum, sang a song of profound, loving instruction to the youths and maidens, dancing a light-footed dance: 'Ema! Wonderful friends! The good path to the secret of bliss and emptiness is easy to enter. You are pleased with it, and I am also pleased. Let us dance this dance together! The unborn maiden comes from the realm of dharma, The sixteen youths are complete with the bloom of bliss. The great yogi is the wisdom of clear awareness, Our gathering together will accomplish all that is needed. Listen to the tinkling of the golden bells on beautiful feet, This dance with its light steps holds the key to shattering samsara. May you fortunate ones understand! In the awareness of two-in-one, with the fire of great bliss, All things are melted into emptiness, manifesting as luminosity. In the illusory play of desire, bliss, and emptiness, The auspicious coincidence for accomplishing the stainless rainbow body is established. You are in the outer triangular dance floor, While I abide in the form of a sun-wheel bindu. Dancing a dance like a bow, Lightning-like three-pronged rays arise. You are in the outer circular dance floor, While I abide in the form of a moon-wheel bindu. Dancing a dance like a blazing flame, Milky nectar falls like a rain of stars. The first four youths and four maidens, Go to the garden blooming with white flowers. The dance that unites joy and emptiness, Dance this great dance that has no equal! The second four youths and four maidens, Go to the garden blooming with red flowers. The dance that unites supreme joy and great emptiness, Dance this great dance that has no equal! Next, four youths and four maidens, Go to the garden blooming with blue flowers. The dance that unites extraordinary joy and profound emptiness...' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
