Please remain steadfastly here. (Tibetan: ས་མ་ཡ་ཏིཥྛ་ལྷན།) Thus, request to remain. Hūṃ! The deity of the Padma family, without attachment or flaw, Subduing the wicked with the ways of the Naga King. Blazing with splendor like the fire of the great kalpa, I prostrate and praise the wrathful king, Hayagriva. Namo Purushaya Ho! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमः पुरुषाय हो, Sanskrit Romanization: namaḥ puruṣāya ho, Chinese literal meaning: Homage to the person) Thus, pay homage. Hūṃ! With the flesh and blood for subduing the three poisons and enemies, And this great nectar of five poisons combined with medicine, I offer to the body of the wrathful king. Please accept it for the sake of subduing the wickedness of the three realms. Om Hyagriva Saparivara Argham to Shapda Maha Sarva Puja Ho! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ हयग्रीव सपरिवार अर्घं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ hyagrīva saparivāra arghaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Hayagriva and retinue, offering) Thus, make a general offering, then, Especially, imagine that the wrathful king's tongue, with its vajra tube, draws the essence of the torma and consumes it. Having contemplated this, recite: Om Vajrakrodha Hyagriva Hūṃ Phat! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्रक्रोध हयग्रीव हुं फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajrakrodha hayagrīva huṃ phaṭ, Chinese literal meaning: Om, Vajra Wrathful Hayagriva, Hūṃ, Phat) Yakṣa Black One Destroy Enemies Maraya! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: यक्ष नागो दग्र बेगस मारय, Sanskrit Romanization: yakṣa nāgo dagra begasa māraya, Chinese literal meaning: Yaksha, Black One, Destroy, Enemies, Maraya) Mamsa Rakta Citta Korocana Basuta Kemni Riti! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: बलिन्त खरं खाही, Sanskrit Romanization: balinta kharaṃ khāhi, Chinese literal meaning: Offering, Kharaṃ, Eat) Offer this three or seven times. The praise is: Hūṃ! Although the Dharmakaya does not move from its unborn state, The Sambhogakaya perfects the terrifying form. Emanating as the blazing wrathful king, I prostrate and praise the one who subdues the arrogance of the world. Body color dark blue, the nature unchangeable, Black silk cloak, overwhelming existence and non-existence. Horse head on the crown, perfecting various activities, I prostrate and praise the great black one who subdues demons. The right hand's sword cuts enemies from the root, The left hand's iron hook draws out the hearts of the unruly. From within the iron sword, emanate small wrathful ones, I prostrate and praise the one who subdues harmful spirits. Mouth open, tongue curled, fangs bared, Three eyes glaring, eyebrows flashing like a thousand lightning bolts. Endowed with glory, standing in the midst of flames, I prostrate and praise the great, terrifying hero. With the sound of 'Hūṃ', gathering the three realms under control, With the thunder of 'Phat', destroying wrong views and the unruly. With the fierce horse's neigh, urging the arrogant to action, I prostrate and praise the supreme speech, the king of mantras. From the nature of mind, free from elaboration, Showing the signs of the five wisdoms in various ways. The great play of compassion and skillful means, I prostrate and praise the one who perfects qualities and activities. The recitation is: Imagine yourself as the wrathful deity, and on the sun disc at your heart, Visualize the wisdom being, the blue 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, endowed with splendor. Around the 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable, imagine the red mantra garland of the root mantra, radiating light, like a revolving fire wheel, turning clockwise and becoming one. Imagine that from the 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) syllable and the mantra garland, rays of light and flames radiate. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
