No. Or, it is said that after the six sense faculties that serve as the basis, there are six consciousnesses, so the distinction of the ear consciousness of consciousness, in reality, there are eight kinds, didn't Master Nagarjuna establish that there are only six kinds? Answer: In reality, Master Nagarjuna believed that there were also the seventh and eighth consciousnesses. After establishing these three views, Wen Ze himself followed Xuanzang and established the view of Master Vimuktisena. In the currently translated Tibetan version of the Madhyamaka-hrdaya, there is no such refutation of the Alaya consciousness, nor is there such a chapter title. Therefore, the name of Master Wen Ze in the Phangthang catalog is called "Perfect Clarity", so it is unreasonable to consider the person who holds the "Immaculate Wisdom Sword" and believes in nine consciousnesses to be Perfect Clarity, because Perfect Clarity is Chinese, and believes that the nine consciousnesses are real. And he is Indian. Thus refuting the belief in nine consciousnesses: If the chief consciousness is different from the eight consciousnesses, it will become a permanent thing, so the nine consciousnesses should not be allowed. If there is a chief consciousness that is different from the eight consciousnesses, it will become a permanent and real thing. Because that is not a conditioned phenomenon, and it is the consciousness that takes objects. If you think that even if it is not included in the eight consciousnesses, it is still a conditioned phenomenon? It is not possible, if it is not form, then it contradicts the object of perception, and it is not a mental factor, nor is it a mind, because there is no correct teaching for believing that there is a consciousness that is not included in the eight consciousnesses. Moreover, in the consciousness that receives the seventh consciousness, it is not mentioned in any part of the Tathagata Sutra and the Maitreya Buddha's treatise, nor is it the view of the two great chariot masters, and it contradicts the wise and stable self who is the measure of those treatises. In the "Vast Explanation of the Difficulties of Mind and Alaya Consciousness, the Ocean of Good Sayings", the refutation of the belief in nine consciousnesses is the third chapter. Fourth, refuting the belief that consciousness is a collection, divided into the statement of the former side and the refutation. The first is: mind and consciousness are one.

When the six faculties themselves are in their respective objects of support, they are merely given their respective names. The Brahmanas and the sources, even in the Sutra of the Twelve Sources, it is said to be one and the six consciousnesses, because it is said to be the source of mind. All consciousnesses are only mind consciousness. This is explained as an intention to combine the sayings of the Bodhisattva as one. Moreover, in the collection of Brahmanas, the one who goes far away is the only one who travels, and he who tames the difficult-to-tame mind, I have said that he is a Brahmana. Thus, the mind that travels alone is said to be one, and in the Sutra it is also said that the six aggregates of consciousness are the source of mind. Moreover, the objects of the six consciousnesses are experienced by the mind, and the mind is the teacher of these. Therefore, the one mind-consciousness depends on each of the senses and travels in each of the objects, and obtains the names of each of the consciousnesses, just like lighting a lamp in a house with many holes. Likewise, in the Mahāyāna-samgraha, some say that the consciousness of the mind itself, which enters from that and that support, obtains the name of that and that, just like the actions of body and speech on the mind. When it arises in all supports, it appears as two in various ways, because it only appears as that meaning, and because it appears as discrimination. In the realm of form, the consciousness of the mind dwells in the body. Other than that, the form senses, like appearing on the body, also appear to grasp the tangible in all places. Here, the verses say: Whoever is bodiless and dwells in a cave, travels far and travels alone, and tames the difficult-to-tame mind, I have said that he is a Brahmana. Moreover, the objects of the objects of these five senses are experienced by the mind, and the mind is the teacher of these. It is like what was said. Moreover, in the teaching of the twelve sources, the six aggregates of consciousness are the source of mind, as it is said. Like that. The meaning of "from the form, also arises" is that the five form senses other than the mind consciousness dwell in the body, that is, the benefit and harm of those senses, the consciousness in the other form realm.
